These work for certain patients, but most can stand, walk, and fall before you can get to them unless you keep them very close to where you are at. Also they only last for at most, around six months of use. I still buy them because they work with my system and help to keep the state happy that the patient is being given the best care possible in the given situation.

I purchased this chair sensor pad to help my Mom in caring for her husband. It worked for the first week then never again. I purchased the chair pad because one year ago I purchased the bed pad and it has been a life saver. The chair pad is not good!

Works good. The delay from rising to receiver alerting is about 2-3 seconds, long enough for my 91 year old father to be up and walking. Using a video system in addition due tomorrow the delay.

Pad loses contact with monitor intermittantly while mother is sitting in chair causing annoying beeps. Monitor is within 12 feet of pad/chair. Very annoying problem.

Love it. This is the second pad for the monitor allowing two pads to alert us whether my mom on the bed or in the chair. It was easy to configure but you need to instructions.

Good product. Easy to use. However the battery life is about a year only. After that you have to buy a whole new pad (battery not sold separately) for another 70 bucks or more....ouch!!
