The tiles are perfect. They look amazing for the area I used them. Easy to work with.

I am NOT handy at all but this took me just over an hour to do by myself. You can barely tell it’s peel and stick unless you look really closely. Totally transformed my kitchen. I used the tool on the brand’s website to see how many sheets I needed and it was very accurate.

It was so easy to install.

Super easy to apply! Excellent quality and if you first install a piece of plywood to your wall to create some thickness, it'll look just like real tiles! Stick on nicely and easy to wipe clean and it is best to pick a pattern of smaller pieces as it is alot less noticeable at the seams. A fraction of the cost of real tiles and also a fraction of the time and efforts! Highly recommended!

I was dreading having to redo my kitchen backsplash. SmartTiles appeared to be a reasonable alternative based on the reviews, so I gave them a shot. I was initially skeptical, but I was quite surprised. These are great! Easy to install, it only took me an afternoon to do my entire backsplash. Although simple to apply, you do have to cut them to properly get around cupboards, so it’s not just a matter of slapping them on. You also have to have a good eye and steady hand to make sure they line up with each other. Not a big deal, since the tiles are forgiving and can be peeled off relatively easy. Overall, highly recommended for those that are not handy or just want something easy, affordable and look great.

I really like this product- I needed something that looked good, easy to use but thin because of the amount of space between my stove and wall- this product has a nice wipe off surface and was easy to install!!

Did not stay adhered to my walls. Constantly resmoothing ripples. Impossible to align, must cut and stick but not in a timely matter. Whether it’s in a used area or decoration in a closed off space it does not stay on for long. It’s like it gets too heavy even l when aligned to stick on top of each other.

This is really pretty. The green could have been more vibrant, kinda pale, but good product. Sad only 4 pieces came in pkg. The right side of sink, and little strip over stove was exactly 1 pkg.The outcome I think is great. Just enough to blend my kitchen together. Its pretty thick as well. Would recommend this backsplash.Pleased with finished look. Dont mind the yellow, that's getting painted today. Kind if easy to match up, and if you run into a snag, like I did, cant even tell the match up is off line. (Shhh)

Could be a little thicker but look real enough to make people assume it's stone. Great value for money if you don't want to tile a tiny area. Still not as nice as the real deal, but grouting a backsplash is no easy task. Worth the $

They look pretty realistic. I have a bad habit of not measuring things when I'm supposed to and using the right tools (I'm working on that, ha!) and although not perfect, my results were pretty good. There's only one small area that I know if I had measured it would've been perfect. I love the outcome and the simplicity of the install.

I had done some research into different brands of peel and stick backsplash and decided to go with Smart Tiles. So far we've had our backsplash up for almost two weeks and have not had any issues. Our walls are slightly textured, so before applying each sheet to the wall, I sprayed the back with Elmer's Craftbond multi-purpose spray (any spray adhesive would work). No issues with peeling or not sticking. The instructions suggest using a utility knife to cut, but when we had to cut the sheets (to go around outlets, etc.) we found it was easier to just measure and mark the back, cut with scissors, then peel off the paper backing, spray with spray adhesive for good measure, and apply to the wall. We had no issues with bubbling or air pockets and together my husband and I installed our backsplash in under two hours. It is definitely easier to apply with two people (I held the top edges while my husband lined up the bottom edges) because once the paper backing is off the sheet is much more flexible and harder to keep square on your own. Honestly though it is so much easier than the equivalent tile backsplash would have been. As for the color, I was worried it wouldn't match our kitchen, but it works perfectly--we have white cabinets, gray countertops, and the walls are painted Sherwin Williams SW 6218 (Tradewind) for reference. In my pictures the colors seem more neutral but in person the blues and greens are more noticeable. Very happy with our purchase!

I live in a little apartment and I've been here for a few years. I was starting to feel like I needed to refresh the dingy kitchen and I had seen Smart Tiles on an apartment decorating blog as a solution for renters to do an inexpensive upgrade on their apartment. They look great! I've had them up about a week, and they've been sticking just fine. I was able to remove and replace my knife magnet and a shelf and replace them with screws through the tiles, which I would not have been able to do with regular tile. You can't tell they're not ceramic unless you touch it. They only took me about a 45 minutes to get them all up and was able to cut them where I needed them with a ruler and exact-o knife. I initially only got about half of what I really needed, so what I thought was going to be about a $40-50 project has been more like an $80 one. The photo in my review is just a portion of my wall, and it took at least 2 packages to cover what is shown. Get more than you think you will need.
