I buy these for cycling, but I end up wearing them every day. These socks are extremely comfortable. Made from wool they are extremely soft and keep my feet warm when it is cool and cool when it is hot. They don't hold moisture. When I am done cycling these socks are dry. I can walk in water, and they dry almost instantaneously

While Smartwool Men's Run is made with excellent quality, they are in a smaller size. advice you to get larger size then your feet are.

Ich liebe diese sehr dünnen und ungepolsterten Socken, trage sie im Alltag und zum Wandern. Sie sitzen sehr gut, sind formstabil, langlebig, unglaublich bequem, bieten ein tolles Fußklima bei sehr warmer bis etwas kühlerer Witterung und neigen kaum zu Geruchsbildung.Etwas verwirrend bei Smartwool die Modellbezeichnungen: Was vorher mal die PhD Outdoor Ultra Light Mini waren, sind jetzt (mehr oder weniger) die Hike Zero Cushion Ankle (wobei mir die Run und auch Bike Varianten auch sehr ähnlich scheinen), oder irgendwelche Abwandlungen davon. Dann findet man noch Men's, Women's oder Unisex, aber auch hier konnte ich keine deutlichen Unterschiede feststellen. Und wann gerade welches Modell in welchen Farben zu welchem Preis wo verfügbar ist, scheint mir auch ein Verwirrspiel, aber dann ist es um so schöner, nach ein paar Jahren doch wieder irgendwo einen passenden Nachfolger für die nach vielen, vielen Kilometern doch leicht abgenutzten Söckchen zu finden.

One of the best thin socks in the market for those who really do not want too much thickness with the superb merino wool qualities as well as the support for the athletic functions. Brought 3 pairs so far and the sizing range is ideal for me as well. Will be buying more in future. The only thing i would criticise is smartwool should use lighter colours in their stock range --- helps to dissipate heat in high temperatures!

The wool has started to pill slightly after just a few wears. Not sure how long it will last.
