I loved these socks! But second time washed in cold water in lingerie bag, came out with a hole where the cuff meets the sock. Pencil is so you can see it, I did not make the hole with the pencil LOL. Returning and ordering another pair.

Cute but they don't seem like they are going to be as durable as my other socks from this brand. I wash and dry those as I do the rest of my clothing. These seem better washed and hung dry, which is no biggie, but the looser weave looks like it's already coming apart in some areas.

These particular style of Smartwool socks are not the same as other Smartwool socks. The stitching is loose, toe line stitching is crooked and many loose threads and loops inside the sock that catch on my toes. I went to an authorized Smartwool store today and they, too, are having issues with this style. The 2 pairs left on the rack had the same issues as the socks I received and the manager removed them after seeing the many loose threads and uneven toe line. I would not order this style even though it is cute.
