I love this sweater! I am 5’4” and 113lbs. I bought a large at a store going out of business as it was the only size left. I prefer a looser fit. Loved so much I bought two more on Amazon in other colors. I don’t typically spend 120 on a turtleneck, but I do love this sweater with the Smartwool hooded vest and skirt.Now, the downside is that it does snag easily. If you want it to look nice for a long time — KEEP AWAY FROM VELCRO! I was so bummed when I practically ruined this top on my first wear. If you do get a snag, just gently tug lengthwise and crosswise several times for the snagged thread to feed back into the weave. This did work on several snags but not all.

It is so nice to wear something pretty and feel good about wearing something that is not plastic !!Most of the things I wear are synthetic and I appreciate their appearance, comfort, easy care , value etc. However, I especially love having a few, special items made from the wool of real, living sheep !I did some research and believe that the wool used by this company comes from sheep that have been well and ethically treated.That factor was of number one importance to me.I will buy more clothing from this company whenever I can !

This merino wool is very soft against the skin; not excessively warm, I wear a long-sleeve silk undergarment beneath in cold weather. Like the ribbing in the material. The Bleached Aqua Heather color is a nice change from black.
