Product arrived on time, feel a little on the cheap side, but it is cheap, nothing else i would have expected, igF u are not in a rush, order the aluminum one just for 2 or three dollars more, seems like a way to go because even the orinal plastic ones break all the time so i expect this one to break in the not far future

I mistakenly assumed that there were 2 included based on the pictures. It would have been nice because these do not last long. If I had known it only included one I would have paid a little more money and bought an aluminum version. Overall, it looks and works identical to the original. I hope this one lasts at least a year or so. Then I’ll buy an aluminum one!

So the latch broke on my go pro and the vid is attached to the housing and I was thinking I need a new go pro and I got the replacement latch and it works perfectly and so happy it works well and my go pro is back in action.

When buying replacement parts for anything, I expect it to perform as good as the original. Or, be an improvement on the original. I had this item installed in a few seconds and my housing was back to working again without the Scotch Tape holding it closed. The appearance is just as good minus the official GoPro logo. But so far, so great. I’ve read some reviews regarding the latch’s failure during shock (dynamic) loading when mounted on a bicycle. However, I believe the design intent for the GoPro housing that this latch attaches to, is primarily for water resistance and not heavy dynamic loading. Other than that, I see no future problems and expect the normal wear and tear properties this part will produce.

I bought this to replace the broken one of my GoPro HERO4 Silver camera's original GoPro Waterproof case. This one definitely is better than the one came with the original case. The original one lasted only two times I opened and closed the case. The plastic under the metal clip broke in to peices while I was trying to open. I was opening normally, not with much pressure or anything.This one I bought is really good. I have been using it now for almost a month and it is doing it's job. I opened and closed the case at least 15 times after I bought this and it is not broken. I am happy and recommend this to anyone who broke the original one.
