I am somewhat new to power poles. When I opened the case, there appeared to be 3 sizes of connectors. However, it turned out that there was one huge connector, not a 45 amp, and no 15 amp connectors. I ruined 2 of the 30 amp connectors before I figured this out. My need was for 15 amp connectors, so this was a waste of money.

I'm a ham radio operator and power pole connectors are the accepted standard in our hobby. We use them for just about all our 12 volt connections to keep from accidentally cross connecting wires. These are useful power pole clones that are pretty much indistinguishable from the originals. I even scratched the tin plating on some of the metal parts to make sure they were actually copper. They crimp just like power poles, they fit together just like power poles, and they pass electricity just like power poles. All in all, a convenient clone. A set like this is very useful for your go bag for Field Day, SOTA, or POTA.

They work. Not much else can be said. One of the latches on the case came broken right out of the box, so I have to tape it shut. Fortunately, all the various parts were still in their respective compartments.

The price is decent and if you're looking for an okay connector and not the real deal, these do okay. That said they are not without their issues. They do not fit together without some fiddling. The plastic works fine, and I have not seen any problems with that but when you try to insert the inside part that is where you have to fiddle with them to get them to seat in correctly. You have to really check to make sure they are fitted, or they will come apart and cause you trouble. All this being said, I still buy them and have used them now a couple of years for projects and radio connections to power supplies. They so far have not given any troubles, or any melting to occur with amperage applied. They are pretty decent in that regards and the price you'd be hard pressed to beat.
