I replaced a fabric-based product because the discs are stored on their side, hiding the labels. That's nuts. THIS box is awesome, you get two rows of a few dozen CDs per row. They fit pretty well on an Ikea Fjälbo shelf. The material is a sort of paper-wrapped dense cardstock with little snaps. It'll do well holding them still and keeping dust off, but I wouldn't want to use these to tote hundreds of CDs around day-to-day.I bought a second set of these, I have a lot of discs

I used these to condense my cd collection. Love them! Just wish they came with tab inserts for labeling. I'll cut my own from index cards.

I got these to store a bunch of old DVD's and blu-rays without taking up a ton of space. I transferred the discs to sleeves to maximize the space savings. I got the 2-pack of white double-wide boxes. On one the cardboard "plate" that the divider snaps into came unglued on both ends. I was able to fix that with some globs of hot glue, but be careful not to put the plate in upside down or it won't fold down correctly. As I was working with the other box, one of the plates for the divider also came unglued, so I had to fix that one too. This seems like a terrible design and that plate needs to be fastened more securely to the wall of the box, maybe riveted. Also the construction is a little flimsy, basically cardboard. It seems to work, but loaded with discs, it weighs about 15 pounds and seems like it is barely holding up. Fortunately they shouldn't need to be handled much. The snaps are a neat idea and make construction very easy.

I just received my dual CD storage cases. I decided to go ahead and to assemble them and fill them up immediately. The material used to make the box, lid and divider are solid but the snaps do not stay latched and with the slightest amount of pressure come undone. The snaps are what hold the entire thing together. As I was re-snapping the interior divider after inserting my first row of CDs the glue holding the snap panel came undone so now I will have to re-glue the snap panel back on. I did not use excessive pressure at all. I was quite gentile actually. These were going to be used so I could cary my CDs to a weekly DJ night I do but there is no way they will hold up. I will glue the interior snaps back on and just use them for stationary storage. We shall see how they hold up for that. I'm pretty sure taking the CDs in and out will create issues. Oh well. Would have been easy to make work with proper construction materials.

Part of the box is glued poorly, and the pieces detached as soon as I tried to snap things together. And the snaps don't hold, because the pieces are only approximately cut. Terrible design and cheaply made. Find something else.

I have accumulated so many CDs that I had to decide, do I just stack the CDs on bookcases, or? So I thought I would stumble on over to Amazon to see what I could find.These fit the bill. They do store 60 CDs very comfortably. Easy to put together.Made of good materials, so, durable and sturdy.I am glad I bought 5 packs of these. I thought I'd have some left over. But apparently I have 600 CDs 😬
