A must have if you are travelling logging roads and have a winch. If you are out there, you know the capabilities of your truck, but other vehicles (sedans) may not. I rescued one car from the ditch with this easily.

This snatch block is well made and fits my needs really well. I use it with my atv winch because someone always pushes their machine to the limit on the trail and needs to be rescued from a mud hole or flipped back over. Many spots you need a good pulley and this thing shines for that. It isn’t very big however (about the size of my hand) this is perfect for packing on my atv but I haven’t used it for anything really heavy like a truck. It has 6k breaking strength so for the trail on smaller equipment it’s perfect.

Certainly Heavy Duty Quality at good price for this load rating and high quality featuresThis is a really nice pulley block. This is the instant load type with a fixed axle and swing open side gates. The pulley rolls on bearings that can be greased using the axle end grease zerk fitting. I admit I thought that the orange color was weird, but that orange color sure helps find it on the brown forest floor or in the snow.

I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality tools and equipment. We use snatch blocks when loading dead vehicles on the flatbed trailer. These are rated at 6 ton, not sure I would want to test those rated limits, but we always shield ourselves when winching as anything can break at any time, so work safe. Quick and easy to use with the power winch. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.

I was surprised by the weight of this pulley when it showed up on my porch. This thing is seriously heavy duty. Perfect for a change of direction pulley or building a simple 2 to 1 mechanical advantage system. The zerk is a nice touch for getting grease where it needs to be. I am quite happy with this snatch block pulley.

This little guy is probably about half the size of the other snatch blocks I have around but is at least as sturdy and actually has a little zerk fitting so you can grease it. The listing pictures don't seem to know how to actually use the pulley but the builders at least know how to build one. For a hardcore offroader size might not be a huge issue but for light use recovery the compact size is good for something the utility box on a small truck. I use blocks like this in my shop often for a pulley system that goes into the attic and the small size makes it easier to mount and carry up to the attic. Would be perfect size for ATVs or side by sides that are lighter weight and space is at a premium. 6 tons sounds like a lot but once you get into the pulley dynamics and safety margins the numbers get big fast so lighter weight vehicles would be better. Probably something most people don't think about having and this is a good option for an average person with an ATV mounted winch.Nice little medium duty block for getting some extra strength on a winch or pulley.

AyA Gear Snatch Block for Winch Recovery, 6 Ton Break Strength, Towing Pulley Block 13,000 LBS Capacity, OrangeThis is two sides of thick steel plate, with a center pulley that looks like it is made of stainless steelmor some other corrosion resistant steel alloy. The assembly is held together with a circlip/e-clip on on side of the block.My only concern is that the block has no stamping for Max load or weight capacities. This snatch block is very nice and high quality and should hold up to some extremely heavy duty applications. Great long life performance with a grease nipple and is very easy to install on a synthetic winch line with a d ring shackle. Recommended
