I've never gotten heated socks before and didn't even know that they were a thing until fairly recently. My feet get cold while I'm at work because I sit all day and in the evenings I work outside in the garage which is about 35 degrees in the winter. This is going to be a review comparison between the Onedidy and the Snow Deer socks size L (these)I will start by saying that I wear a women's 9 - 9.5 shoe. The Onedidy ran large for me if I wanted a snug fit. They are one size fits all and the heel is past my natural heel and the top went partly over my knee. I prefer slightly slouchy though so I scrunched them down a bit and they were much more comfortable than the Snow Deer in my opinion. The Snow Deer (L) fit more exact and tight. It wasn't uncomfortably tight, but there were some light ridge marks in my calf after wearing them for the day like I get with a brand new pair of gym socks before they are washed a few times. I feel like if you want a perfectly fitting sock that can go into a boot without loose fabric this is the way to go. They are both a thick winter weather type sock.As far as heating goes, the battery life in them seemed comparable. I might give Snow Deer a point for a longer charging cable but that's just asthetics. The Onedidy on the other hand will charge directly through a usb C port so if you have a handheld charger with you, you can charge anywhere and that is a definite plus. The actual heat element on the Snow Deer socks seems to be on the top of the foot while the Onedidy has it top and bottom of the ball of your foot. This is where in my opinion the Onedidy really shines. if I have the socks on a low heat and put them in my slippers it's just cozy foot all over. The Snow Deer has the heat elements on the top and while it will heat up my whole foot in my slipper it always seems hotter on top and colder on the bottom. I think this distribution also affects how hot things get overall. The Snow Deer's definitely manage to put out more heat than the Onedidy. On top heat the Snow Deer will get burn-your-foot hot but the Onedidy doesn't get near as hot. I ran the Snow Deer back and forth between low - med and the Onedidy on level 3 (out of 4) and the battery life seemed the same. I liked the heat controller on the Snow Deer better.Wearing them just sock footed the function seems to be about the same, which is not that great. I was hoping I could walk around with just the socks on but it's not really possible and still have them work right. The Snow Deer doesn't have any elements on the bottom at all though it actually will work if you turn it to high and wear the sock upside down! The Onedidy doesn't have the power to keep everything hot long term with cold air or cold ground around your feet cooling stuff down.I will be keeping the Onedidy socks. They are really awesome and I wanted some that specifically would heat both the top and bottom of my foot which they do. The Snow Deer will go back. They were way too expensive to keep as a backup when they don't meet all my expectations. I will post this review under the Onedidy sock as well with a 5 star. These are very nice, just not what I wanted.

Battery charger gets pretty warm when charging them, but charges fine. Fit is like a loose sock. Very weird when wearing in boots. Battery seemed to last a couple of hours on "high" (after 15 minutes it starts going to low - cycling power fixes the issue). Went to put them on the 4th time wearing them and the left sock no longer works. Guess it's ok because you can only spot wash them and socks get gross in boots.

I wore these skiing last week and they worked out great. They sit high enough on your calf so that ski boots will not interfere with the battery pocket or the controller. They also seemed to stay up on my leg very easily - I haven't work socks this tall since the 70's :)They do a great job of keeping your feet warm without getting too hot.

I bought these for my fiancée. She is constantly getting cold, and these were a game changer for her. They get nice and toasty, and the batteries aren't too bulky.

Used skiing two times toward the end of this winter. My feet get quite cold. On medium heat, they get very warm and last at least 5+ hours. I had wear a (not thick) pair of (crew) socks underneath them so that they were not uncomfortably warm against my skin. The toe area of the socks is pretty thick in order to cushion the wiring, which I didn't find too annoying. Sometimes might need to adjust the sock slightly so it's not rubbing a boney area.I am a women's 9.5 shoe, and I believe I ordered a M. The foot area was maybe a tad loose, but not too bad. The calf fit just right. My calf, at the widest point, is just under 14" circumference.

This is my third pair of heated socks. One from a different vendor and now two from Snow Deer. My first pair had electrical issues with one of the socks during the first season of use and ultimately would not heat one of the socks. Because of the failure of the first pair of socks, I purchased an insurance policy on the first pair of Snow Deer socks and am glad that I did because they also failed at the end of the first winter of use. I assume there is a short in one of the socks because regardless of which battery I put in it, the battery would go dead shortly after turning the sock on. I decided to buy the second pair of Snow Deer socks because I do like the socks and feel that they work very well at keeping my feet warm while I go out for my winter runs in the morning. I like that my feet stay very warm and very important to me is that the socks do not side down my leg while out running like the first pair from a different supplier did. I can recommend these socks for good fit, function and keeping your feet warm but I cannot recommend them for use beyond one season without failing. I am hoping to get lucky and get more than one season out of them but am resolved that I may very well be buying another pair next year.
