Strong motor machine, lighter and compact, the only advice I can give you, get the longest cable than 50 feet, you will need it,

Total piece of garbage, used it 5 time and now i cant even push without the handle spitting in the middle, the whole thing is shaking and loud,I think the chute screw broke the first day.honestly get a good shovel instead, good work out and takes less time ,For someone in the north this thing is a scam, for heavy snow your screwed unless you like spending 20 min pushing over and over to move 1 m of snow .Total waste of money !

This snow thrower arrived in a box that was too thin for its contents. The box was ripped down the side and a hole in the front. I don't blame UPS for this as the box is clearly not suited for the product inside. The handle for the chute was on the verge of falling out.The machine itself was easy to assemble, all pieces were there and worked when plugged in. It is light and not very noisy. One of the cable clips came broken and the front at the top where the snow enters is not assembled properly. Neither of these errors should affect the function of the machine. The metal used for the handle and chute is very thin. I would be wary of pushing this into moderately heavy snow for fear these would bend. The plastic wheels appear to be low quality as well.I used it on a fluffy 7 inch snow fall and it did an acceptable job.

This is a nice 4-star snow thrower with crappy wheels. First, secure all bolts to reinforce the handle. Upgrade the wheels (~$100 total), drill a few metal holes and this becomes a solid 5-star machine. See attached photos. Here are the parts I used:AR-PRO (2-Pack) 10-Inch Solid Wheel Replacement[ASIN:B08SHV53NN]AR-PRO 5/8” x 36” Zinc Plated Steel Rod[ASIN:B09T6Q7W5S]* Cut the rod to 23" width. Perfectly fits AR-PRO wheels. I wasted time with another brand 5/8" steel rods due to poor quality control. (a few millimeters too large)Heavy Duty 10-Inch Shelf Brackets[ASIN:B0D57W76DD]* Nice solid 1.5" wide metal brackets. I used all 4 brackets to reinforce the handle bar and wheels.2 Heavy-Duty Wheelbarrow Axle Brackets Only[ASIN:B0BXW53SW6]* These axle brackets have a tiny dimple for single-wheel installation. Drill out the dimple and expand the opening to fit the steel rod. I could not find 5/8" axle bracket without a dimple.KZNANZN 5/8" Bore OD 1-5/16" Shaft Collars Double Split Screw Style [ASIN:B07FLYTDW2]--OR--Jeremywell 5/8" Bore Zinc Plated Set Screw Shaft Collars[ASIN:B0197MHINI]* I used two KZNANZN shaft collars to prevent any loosening.Rust-Oleum Gloss Black Brush On Paint[ASIN:B000LNQZ32]* To prevent rust, paint all exposed screws / washers.Zip Ties[ASIN:B075QDYFSB]* Tie-up the cords.Gorilla Heavy-Duty Black Duct Tape, 1.88" x 35 yd[ASIN:B000CSS8UE]* I covered-up the large Snow Joe logo with heavy-duty black tape.100-ft 12/3 Heavy-Duty Go Green Outdoor Extension Cord[ASIN:B0BL3WY1V7]* Very nice extension cord that will accommodate this 14.5-Amp machine.Woods 22849 Metal Extension Cord Reel[ASIN:B0064R6D18]* Perfectly fits 100-ft 12/3 extension cord.

Use it on 600 sq ft wood deck in Western N.Y. Blows thru 8 inches of snow no problem. Does not tear up deck. At 70 yrs old shoveling days over. The cord can be a pain but i leave blower and cord on deck all winter. Couldn't do that with cordless.

****DO NOT BUY THIS*******It works well but the downside is the rubber pads don't seem to last that long and will get chewed up pretty fast. It is a nice overall product that will move snow.Edit:first snow of the year only using it 8 times prior, the scraper bar broke in half.It was fluffy snow, nothing harsh. My wife asked what this big black piece was on the ground and why the snow blower wasn't doing a good job anymore. After finishing the driveway, what used to look like a decent driveway, looks like we got light snow again. We got this in January, with a warranty. Always remember the warranty, for products such as this. Its worth it.**another update2 weeks after replacement. We had a blizzard and got the replacement with no issues. We used it on the blizzard and the same scrapper bar broke. We called for yet another replacement and the only option is too wait until a part comes in(which they don't have a date when it comes in other than, "we see we have a shipment comming in"). I read from the BBB and this is apparently common for them to say and never replace the unit... I did ask if we could replace it and then they said we don't downgrade the unit, spoke to the supervisor and offered me a downgrade. Lol 😆I was happy to use this but not for the parts braking and customer service being so horrible. Do not buy this!!!!!

Because of the light weight you can change directions with little effort and while in progress you also change the chute direction from left, center and right. I think if you can move beyond the cord getting in the way at time you will not be disappointed. I know our winter wasn’t crazy in Jersey this year but I was pleased on how it handled the two storms that arrived at our door steps. Snow joe!!

I found the safety botton feature bothersome, especially when wearing heavy gloves. MY electric lawn mower has a far better mechanical safety feature that doesn't require two hands to activate. I did relocate the electric cord to the very top left side of the handle which provides far better cord control and less chance of running over cord when making a maneuver. Also purchased a 12/3 100 ftcommercial quality extreme cold weather cord which is now installed semi permanent. Ready for next snowfall!
