Capable of tackling heavier snowfalls on mid-sized driveways and walkways, SJ615E combines the power of a gas machine with the convenience of an electric unit in one snow-shredding dynamo. Driven by a peak-performance 11-amp motor, the SJ615E is capable of moving up to 441 lbs of snow per minute courtesy of its 2-blade cold-and-abrasion-resistant plastic auger, clearing a swath up to 15 inches wide and 8 inches deep in a single pass. And when the snow day is done, the folding handle makes it a cinch to store until the next time you need it.

I am a 75 year old female. My husband is 79 and announced he can no longer shovel snow. My brother suggested Snow Joe We had a gas powered blower years ago that was wide but hard to handle and would be impossible for us now. I was skeptical that this would be capable of doing much - but it has turned out to be perfect for me. Recent storm dropped 6” which is about the max of how much it can take in but by going slow and scooping a little bit i was able to work my way through some deeper drifts. It really tosses the snow a distance and the adjustable chute is fantastic. I did spray the inside with wd40 and let it dry before starting. As far as i am concerned it has already paid for itself and if it died tomorrow i would order another oneIt was very easy to assemble (hardly anything to do) and light weight. I can easily b pick it up and bring it in the house - which is where we are keeping it for the winter so we can open the door and start blowing a path. 💕

First use of my Snow Joe today on 4 inches of snow. First of all, FORGET about it throwing the snow up to 20 feet, it's more like up to 3 or 4 feet. Maybe. The only good thing about that is that I live in a townhouse and the driveways next door are about 5 feet away. I'll have to plan things differently next time since I ended up having to do one section twice after calculating the 20 foot throw. I also have two other issues, I noticed the blade wasn't getting right down to the concrete after a little while so I'm a little concerned about that, and the snow tended to spit out the back of the chute. At least it will pay for itself after another snow fall vs a plow truck - as long as I don't have to replace any parts on it.Update: 2nd use: 6" powdery snow and it did a good job. The only problem was the chute kept flipping over and the snow was shooting upwards - I had to keep fixing that.

This is a good product. I’m 63, female and live alone. I put it together by myself. It was an easy assembly. It runs great and man is it better than shoveling. I have arthritis and tasks are hard. This was a breeze. I had a normal 30 minute job done in 10 minutes. The cord is a pain but the price makes this one affordable. The cord isn’t that hard to move. A battery would make the job even easier. If you have extra cash, get the battery kind. Maybe buy several batteries so you can complete the job. One battery would do mine.I bought this corded unit to save time effort and money. I let my neighbor use it and he said it was “fun”.

I bought this back in March 2021 as a back up for my gas snow blower for lighter snows. We often go year without a snow needing to snow blow but occasionally get a significant one where needed. I had not used either gas or this one until Jan 10, 2025. When I wheeled the Snow Joe out from its storage area the left wheel fell off and was broken. As result had to make use of my gas model. No idea why this would happen but makes it pretty worthless. Not even sure if I will bother finding spare part but just pitch it. Decided I would see if I could get part from them and while they were responsive to e mails told me wheel to make this work not in stock and contact them in 4 to 6 weeks. Would not even keep my e mail to let me know if in stock so I would have to reach out to them. When winter will be over and this will be useless until the next winter! I have found I can probably get wheels from O'Reilly that will fit and may try that. But must admit I am very disappointed in this company.

I bought this snow blower anticipating a big storm. The snow finally came and this little blower did really well. It cleared 6” of snow from our driveway and a path in the back yard in about 20 minutes and didn’t bog down once. Now to see what it will do with wet, heavy snow and snow with frozen rain on top of it. I will update later with pictures (too dark right now) and maybe again after I’ve been able to use it a few times. We are satisfied with our purchase.UPDATE (1/19/20): This little unit did a great job moving the ice covered snow. I had to walk across the snow in some spots to break up the ice (1/3” thick) and I went over it in 2 layers so the machine didn’t have to work so hard. It cleared most of it almost to the pavement and chucked it where I wanted it!! We spray liquid ice melt down before the snow falls so it is really easy to get up. I doubt it would have been this clean if we hadn’t aprayed the ice melt first.

Bought this mower last week with hopes that it would do the job. As a senior woman I wanted something light and easy to use. We just had about 7-8 inches of heavy snow. I did one pass yesterday when snow was about 3 inches deep and then again this morning for the remainder. Snow yesterday was very wet and heavy. Had to clear chute a number of times and snow didn't fly as far but it worked. Today snow wasn't as heavy and snow thrower worked perfectly. I'll have driveway plowed with major storms but now I can take care of smaller snowfalls. It takes a bit of time with a 15 inch span but that's OK.
