The flags are okay. They are cheap plastic tubes that screw together. They work fine for what they are. I have broken many of these types of flags with my u12-u13 boys team. The thing i find works to prevent breaking the most is why I ordered these was the spring base that allows movement to allow strikes to reverberate and be absorbed more than just snap. So those are a solid base. The thing that this is missing that other I have work with is more of a foot bed to push these in with. That is missing. The flags could be better as well. The portability of these are nice and they do function. If you are looking between these and ones with a static base spike i would go with these over those any day for longevity and resistance. Not a lot more resistant but enough that it is worth it.
