These sponges are made specifically for pan pastels. They make it easier to lay down color in larger swaths. Cosmetic sponges work but these hold the pigment better and shed dust less than cosmetic sponges do. Worth the money imo.

I Love these sponges! I don't know what makes these Colorfin sponges apply PanPastels so wonderfully compared to any other sponge. I thought I was going to save money by using cheap makeup sponges but I was sooo wrong. Colorfin sponges out perform anynother sponge I have tried. They hold way more pastel, apply smooth and evenly and don't shread or fall apart. Colorfin sponges are the only sponges I will ever use with PanPastel!

Because I like to work on rather larger platforms I have found the Colorfin Pan Pastel sponges allow me to create large blended areas more easily than with the conventional sticks and pencils that I also use. Unless I use them on the heavier sanded surfaces they are extremely durable.For lovers of powdered pastels I can recommend these highly,

These are great and made especially for PAN PASTELS! They will work BETTER than regular make up sponges! Arrived in good shape - packaged well!

Received produc as expected. It is not the same as make-up sponge if you are looking for a similar product of less value. This is made for crafts. Make-up sponge crumbles after heavy use.

These sponges are so easy to use. They give an even soft application of your pastels. They are easy to clean, by just rubbing off on paper towel, or can be washed out if needed.they hold up for a long time.
