I definitely like the look of these little cups. I got them after I bought an egg cracker. I started buying local eggs instead of shipped in mainland eggs. The shells are harder to crack, so I bought the egg cracker but found it awkward to hold the egg and cracker at the same time. I thought to put the egg in the cup and then use the cracker but found that when the egg hit the bottom of the cup, it didn't just cut the top off the egg, instead it cracked the entire egg. So,I went back to holding the egg in my hand while using the cracker. I think I saw egg cups with rubber (?) inserts that would cushion the egg. I'll try those next.

I waited a while before opening this package after receipt. When I did, both egg cups were broken. I put this on myself for not opening promptly. So I got out some Gorilla Glue to repair these. The first was a small chip at the base which was easy to fix. The 2nd was a larger piece of the actual cup. When I pressed the piece in place, the entire cup crumbled in my hand. I pitched it in the trash because it was in shreds. Not ever worth considering.

Have used these a few times now. They work well for my morning soft boiled eggs. Clean up well in the dishwasher. Love having these now, as I grew up using them.

I bought four of these little egg cups for occasional use. They’re fine for the purpose for which they are intended— to hold an egg upright on a plate. But I find them poorly made. The blue color is inconsistent and they don’t really match when held next to each other. One arrived chipped in two places, one wobbles a bit on the base, and one has spots where the glaze didn’t coat the piece. So, not something I would buy again or recommend, but they’re also something I don’t feel I need to be careful with and I wont miss them if they break. They’ll be just fine for the occasional soft boiled egg.
