When our dog swims, he jumps off the pavers into the pool and quickly wears his back claws down to the quick and then bleeds. We tried booties…nope. Put these soft claws on him today (which was easy and didn’t bother him in the least). He swam for about a half hour and the claws worked perfectly! One claw fell off towards the end, but I couldn’t believe the rest stayed on! He probably jumped in the pool a hundred times. Thrilled to have found this solution because he loves swimming so much!

I am a first year cancer survivor. Our dog’s claws, even though we have them trimmed once a month, would cut through my arms like butter. It was very important to get this stopped. Our groomer suggested Soft Paws and we have used them everv since. Remarkable product!! Saved my arms! I am happy, the vet is happy, the groomer is happy and my doctor is happy!!! Superior product!

Unser Hund läuft sich krankheitsbedingt die mittleren Krallen der Hinterläufe bis aufs "Leben" ab. Mehrer Paar Schuhe waren schnell durchgelaufen und passend waren sie nie. Zudem wurde er immer schlimmer und eine Kralle began sich schon zu entzünden.Habe dann die Softclaws bestellt und ausprobiert. Etwas eingekürzt passen sie ganz gut bei meinem Hund (27 kg). Den Hund hat es überhaupt nicht gestört. Weder das draufmachen noch das tragen. 3-4 Wochen haben sie gehalten und sind dann einfach abgefallen. Die Krallen darunter sind gut nachgewachsen, haben keinen Schaden oder wurden brüchig. Ich war erst skeptisch, auch der Tierarzt hat zuerst gelacht, aber nun bestelle ich einen Schwung für die Praxis. Also : Top.

We got new wood floors and our dogs nails were the enemy. Easy to get on and they worked well. HOWEVER....they adhere a little too well. Impossible to get off and they need to just grow out. Making trimming dog nails a mystery on how much to cut. So I say this is a short term fix because it causes the dogs nails to get too long and not sure how comfortable they are long term.

Haben schon zum zweiten Mal das Produkt gekauft, da es m.E. momentan die einzige Möglichkeit ist, einem Tier mit Problemen an den hinteren Läufen einen Schuh o.ä. zu ersparen. Die Kunstkrallen werden aufgeklebt und halten je nachdem zwischen 2-3 Monate, dann fallen sie von alleine ab. Egal bei welchem Wetter, egal auf welchem Untergrund! Ich war anfangs skeptisch, bin aber mittlerweile total begeistert. Die Größe XXL paßt unserer Labradorhündin wie angemessen, wir lassen es bei der für sie normalen schwarzen Farbe - alles andere sähe eher affig oder nach Karneval aus. Fazit: Wäre es noch nicht auf dem Markt, müßte man es erfinden.

Mein Border Collie hatte vor einem Jahr einen Rückenmarksinfarkt und in Folge eine totale Lähmung der Hinterhand. Nach vielen Therapien kann er wieder gut laufen, nur ist links ein Schleifen übrig geblieben. Bis jetzt haben wir immer einen Schuh angezogen, da die 2 mittleren Krallen sehr stark abgerieben sind. Die Schuhe halten mittlerweile ca 1 Woche, dh er hat schon vieeele Schuhe verbraucht. So dachte ich, versuch es mal mit den Krallen. Ich habe sie in schwarz, Größe XXL , weight 40-70 lbs für meinen sehr schlanken 19 kg Border bestellt. Passen wie angegossen! Ein minus ist, dass man sie zu 1/3 mit Kleber füllen muß, und das ist bei schwarzen Krallen ein Ratespiel. Die ersten 2 haben die Vorfreude auf den Spaziergang mit Gallopp im Garten nicht überlebt. Beim 2. Versuch haben wir länger als 5 min gewartet und ich habe auch Kleber auf die wirklich sehr kurzen Krallen gegeben. Und siehe da! Sie halten bombenfest! Spaziergang mit 9 Hunden, im gestreckten Gallopp, mit Bremsmanövern und schwimmen.Der Hund spührt seine Pfote viel besser als mit Schuh, geht reiner und akzeptiert die falschen Krallen . Sehr zu empfehlen!

Mein 11 Jahre alter Golden Retriever blutete immer wieder an einer Kralle, weil er sein Hinterbein infolge schwerer Athrose nachschleift. Meine Tierärztin machte mich auf dieses Produkt aufmerksam, weil sie den mühsam fabrizierten Verband sah. Das lästige 3-malige Wechseln fällt nun weg, der Hund läuft besser, kann also das Produkt empfehlen. Allerdings weiss ich nicht, wie lange sie halten, er trägt sie jetzt durchgehend erst 3 Tage, allerdings auch bei Regen.Nachtrag am 21.11.2017Erstklassiges Kundenservice der Firma. Es wurden sofort 3 Ersatzkleber verschickt, die die mitgelieferten trotz sachgerechter Aufbewahrung eintrockneten.Mittlerweile kann ich auch sagen, dass diese Krallen ca. 2 bis 5 Wochen halten - je nach Wetter (Hund geht auch viel im Regen spazieren) und Unterlage (täglich kürzere, ab und zu auch längere Wege) halten.Unser Goldie akzeptiert sie wie seine eigenen Krallen, nagt oder beißt also nicht darauf herum. Also wirklich ein gutes Produkt und auch ein TOP-Service an Kundenfreundlichkeit!

I've been using this product for more than 4 years without problems. And I use them for medical reasons:I have a German shepherd with column problems, so it trails his back legs.He started to wear down his nails and I'm sure that he'll bleed them if I didn't use this product. I've been protecting his natural nails with this claws since then and he can walk without any problem.Reading the other reviews, I'm pretty sure that the problem aren't the nails but the way they are being used:1. Use ALWAYS when the dog's paws are dry. If you don't, the moisture inside could rot the nails.2. Clean throughly the dog's nails with cotton balls and alcohol3. Dry the dog's nails wit another cotton ball4. Use enough glue5. Wait at least 5 minutes before walking the dogThat's it! I couldn't be more grateful to this product, it improved a lot the life of my dog and he can enjoy his days wearing out this product instead of his own nails.

I bought these to save my hardwood floors from my whizzy 10 month old Doberman. Even if her energy was quickly redirected to an outside game of fetch she would leave cougar like scratches on her way to the back door. Although they work well, these things do prevent basic claw maintenance. I keep my dogs claws trimmed and filed and with these on, like others have pointed out, there is no claw trimming for a couple of weeks leading to longer quick and other issues. My solution was to trim my dogs claws, file them, put on the caps with a good amount of glue and then carefully trim off the rubber tips so the claws are left with a ring of rubber around the ends. They obviously don't stay on as well as a tip full of glue but surprisingly they lasted a week plus with only 2 coming loose...and that was while digging so really what would stay on? Now, I just trim the rubber along with the claw until it comes loose and then repeat. Floors are still getting quite a bit of protection and my dogs claws are at a healthy length. The downside.. these require constant inspection and a steady supply of glue and caps which in the long run add up to a not inconsiderable expense.

Ich habe den Krallenschutz für unseren hüftkranken Hund besorgt. Da er besonders groß ist, sind die claws fast ein wenig zu klein, daher sind sie stark unter Spannung und fallen öfters ab. Trotzdem hält der mitglieferte Kleber die claws eigentlich recht gut an der Kralle. Bei uns hält es ca. 1 Woche. Dann kann die abgeschliffene Kralle wieder einigermaßen nachwachsen. Unser Hund toleriert das Procedere und den Schutz sehr gut.

I have a dog with a neurological disorder that causes her to drag her front claws just slightly. She wears down her claws and they become so painful, she limps and can barely walk one block. My dog absolutely loves to walk, so sore nails were cutting in to her miles considerably and she was a very sad girl. The vet suggested soft claws. I rolled my eyes at puting fake nails on my dog, thinking they would never stay on- but they really are an amazing product. They come with special glue and slide right on over her worn down claws. My dog doesn't love having them put on, but they do not bother her once they are on. These little soft claws will last through a few 6 mile walks/ runs for her without any issue at all. If you find they fall off too easily, you might not be using enough glue. We absolutely love this product for the quality of life it gives my sweet girl so she can get her beloved miles in along the lake. My dog is a 57 lb. mixed breed. About the size of a small lab. XXL is the perfect size for her.
