This kit worked well to salvage an infielders glove that has more life in it, just a broken lace. Saves a few hundred dollars!

I am a diy person so when my hubby needed his beloved softball glove restrung due to multiple breaks, I jumped right in. I watched a few videos and realized that the needle was more important than the puller for my application (just the heel) so I got this kit. One day shipping and I got to work! The laces are very strong so you can really crank and pull them. It's no different than hand sewing and I decided to wrap the ends instead of knotting them. I can't believe people pay others to do this! Once you watch a video about which direction to start/end and the order of the laces it's something that can be completed in 15 minutes. I finished it while watching Ted Lasso. I might now have a job for my hubby's entire softball team since once they break in a glove, they are not excited about buying a new one.

This worked just as advertised! It is good quality, and they give you enough length to repair several broken laces (but probably not enough to relace an entire glove which is fine since you don't need to do that all at once). It is a little difficult to relace gloves in general and this system works as well as any I have used before. It worked well and I would purchase this again when needed.

Worked great. Used it to repair a vintage catcher’s mitt.

Lace easily cuts and threads into needle. Definitely nice to have in the ball bag just in case of emergency’s. The lace quality feels a bit different IMO. Not as good quality as tanners (rawlings), or Wilson lace. They seem more stretchy. Which can be a good thing, but the leather “feel” just feels too light. One side of the lace is also “shiny” and looks cheap. My buddies HOTH had some broken laces, and I ordered these to test quality, and because he didn’t care. They laced in the glove fine, and definitely did the job.Received in 2 days. Glove re-laced in an hour, and is ready to go to the field.5/5 shipping3/5 lace quality4/5 on overall transaction

Good quality leather strips. Laced my glove no problem. Enough for multiple gloves.
