So far, so good. This is a pretty simple device - a solar/battery light that straps to the handle of your outdoor grill and automatically turns on when you raise the handle.(I didn't get a picture of it on the grill - it's raining out at the moment!)It's got a rubber grip that works pretty well to grab onto round handles. USB-C charging via a port (with weather seal) on the side, and the power button lights up red when charging or green when the battery is full. Solar charging also lights up the button. That said, it's nice and bright (two brightness levels) and hopefully is decently waterproof. The only downside - no solar charging while the cover is on, of course, since that covers the light, too!

I'm not using this on a blackstone, this happens to fit my grill handle. The older designs I've had, of lights like this, were just nightmares to deal with. The solar charging of this is way better than the battery packs of old, that required almost complete disassembly to swap out. The addition of a USB charging option is even better than having to keep track of batteries, and the latch to remove it for charging is leagues better than the old "undo the screws to keep up the hassle once the batteries are dead" method of attachment.I guess it depends on how large your grill is, but you may want wider coverage than this offers. I have zero issues with it, but I have a smaller grill, and any light would do a good job lighting the area. With that being said, once you've had a chance to use this (and not balance a flashlight or resort to a headlight) I wouldn't hesitate to add a second light if I felt the need for it.I'm glad it's got 2 light levels as well, to help extend the battery life. I just don't need full brightness until it's time to take things off the grill, so it's nice to be able to save some of that power for when it's needed.

Just mounted this onto my Weber Genesis III grill. Not grilled with it yet, but believe I'm going to love this thing. When it arrived, the battery must've been at around 90% charged. Turned the light on, dimmed the light. Rotated it up and down to engage/disengage the auto on/off (which works GREAT).Plugged it in to fully charge, and the charge indicator turned from Red to Green within 15 minutes (I did have this plugged into my highspeed Samsung Galaxy charger however - your charger mileage may vary...)Pros:Mounts fairly easily. The auto on/off is pretty awesome!Lightweight, un-obtrusive to the grill handle, or for that matter, any grilling activity. The charge port is a huge bonus for me, as we have a "Gorilla" cover for our grill, so with this on, and the cover on when not grilling, this will not get any "Solar" charging. So the yes, ability to charge this off the grill is a plus!Cons"It mounts "okay", with the strap being quite stiff when wrapping around the handle of the grill. While mounting, I physically rolled the strap around the handle with my fingers, squeezing as tightly as I could with my older crippled hands. Then put the plastic nut on, and while still "rolling" across the strap, I tightened the nut. And... I tightened it to the point that I could feel it pop over the last thread, almost like it stripped out. Did this 2 or 3 times, and it still held on. However, there was still some space b/w the strap and the handle of the grill, where the strap comes out of the light mount. As much as I was able to squeeze at this spot, I could not get that space to close up tight against the grill handle. This is why I'm giving this 4 rather than 5 stars.I do think this will stay on the grill, but would rather that the strap fit flat against the handle, and the nut didn't "pop" over the thread.Overall summary:Good light for the price. Be careful not to over tighten. (to remediate, I may remove the soft rubber padding on the curved part of the mount, just before the strap begins. This may provide a better overall fit.)

This is a great solar powered barbecue grill light. What makes it stand out is motion sensing, so it comes on when you open the grill cover and turns itself off when you close the cover. Pretty neat design! The other great feature is the quick release bracket, which is very important to me. My grill is usually in the shade. However, being quickly removable like a bike headlight, I can easily place it in the sun during daylight hours to charge it. Then, at night, just clip it back on the grill handle and cook. So it is a great value and nice design with this grill light. The light is plenty bright to see what you are cooking. It is also chargeable via USB - C if it's cloudy with no sun for several days. I plan on getting a lot of use grilling this summer with this light.

Finally, a solar powered waterproof Grill light!I have had several grill lights over the years. This one is probably the best of the bunch so far.It puts out a good amount of light and nearly lights my whole grill. It attaches easily and the power button lights up when you are charging it to tell you when its charging or complete. It also automatically turns off when you close the grill lid which is a really nice.Almost a 5 star product. If it were just a little bit longer, meaning for my grill, there is just no way to light the entire grilling surface with where the grill handle is. If it were a 1/2 to an inch longer it would easily be able to light the whole grill.Also. the placement of the solar panel charger is not really in a good spot. With the grill lid closed, the solar panel faces the ground instead of the sky so i am really not sure about how much its charging from the sun.The light itself is great, and does a good job of lighting up the grill on those late nights, and not having to remember to pull it in when you have a hot plate of food is also a huge plus.
