I placed it outside right by my entry door. It's lights up beautifully. It is not very bright, but definitely noticeable and beautiful!! It is not big, it's definitely on the smaller size, but not tiny either. Just right for what I needed. Just make sure to place it on a sunny area.

This house design is really cute.So far I've only had it inside (mostly on the kitchen windowsill) because I decided not to put it outside when we had snow forecast earlier this month. LolThe item recharges during the day from the sun hitting the kitchen window, and then I get a nice glow from it when it turns dark.I'm deciding where to place it outside once the snow goes away for the year. The first place I had thought of doesn't get much sun over the winter because of the lower angle of the sun. So this might be mostly a summer decoration in that spot. Or I could place this one on the back deck, which gets lots of sun every day that any sun comes out.

This is the cutest little thing ever! It’s well made, sturdy, holds up to weather well, the light is very bright and this house is the most adorable thing lit up at night! I’ve made its forever home in my front yard, with all my gnomes! It’s a gnome home now! I love it and I’m definitely gonna get one for all the gardeners and gnome or fairy collectors I know! Worth the money and pretty sizeable! I strongly suggest you get one if you love cute things that light up! Oh! It’s solar powered too! No spending money on batteries for it!!

It's made of resin but unless you pick it up, you wouldn't know it. I actually like resin because after a windstorm that blew most of the items in by backyard around, this thing fell down on top of concrete and looked as good as new. It'd durable and looks great.

For the money this flower succulent solar house is an absolute steal. It is so stinking cute, and the lights when charged are pretty bright! The house itself isn’t very big, but it is the perfect size to put on my solar plant stand I have in my picture window. It fits nicely with my solar plant stand. This beauty is definitely worth buying because of how darling it is!

I gave this adorable little cottage to my sister for her hummingbird feeding garden and she loves it.It's surprisingly bright when it's lit up.It looks actually like the picture too. I wish I had taken a picture before I gave it to her.

This small, charming woodland cottage glows at night with a gentle warmth. I got this small light because it made me smile. We live in a rural area and there are no lights after the sun goes down except the solar light I put out to show where to step. These decorative touches really make a difference in my garden. The unit arrived well packaged in its own custom cut foam. It had a bit of a charge, so I was able to check that it works. Charging it up during the day gives up to an 8 hour light overnight. I’ve never been up late enough to check on that. The little house itself puts off a gentle glow with brighter lights from the little window panes and the butterfly on the upper left. The charging panel is on the roof on the right, so I orient that toward the sun.All in all, this is a charming and excellent little bit of whimsy!

"Resin" as a molding/sculpting material is often touted as something special, as a significant feature. Maybe it's the sound of the word - rrresssinnn... But it's just clay or chalk and plastic blended. Definity very easily moldable and supports detailed design, and once dry, fairly solid and not too heavy. So our resin fairy cottage - as stated here many times, it is very cute. This is a very nice piece for adding to a diorama or any garden as a decoration or accent piece. The solar cell is located on the left roof gable and is fairly unobtrusive to the look of the little house. It charges quickly, with a simple press on/off button (actually came alreay charged out of the box) and provides light throughout the structure, illuminating the house from within, like someone is home. The butterfly perched on the roof also lights. The look and style is rustic, like a country craft, the paintjob is generally very fine, with homey colors and details. The texturizing however is pretty great - the roof and the "stonework" look and feel fantastic. In the garden, place in a level and well sunlit spot, free of overhangs and long shadows. Be prepared for charm and a warm glow.
