Purchased these solar lamps as Christmas decorations for my front yard. Turns out they are generally decorative because the colors are not specific to Christmas. So have left them in place in my from yard. Happy with my choice.

I really like the amount of light they throw down to the ground, the colors are beautiful. Assembly was totally simple, I opted to do the full height and an glad I did. It was a windy last night, so was nice to see the colors dancing in the breeze.The solar panel and switch are of nice quality, seems like they will last a long time.Only bad thing is the box they come in. The box was destroyed, as it was shipped in an Amazon bag. Luckily everything inside the box is packaged nicely and kept is all protected. Just wish the box was slightly stronger cardboard.Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

I have used solar lights for many years so know how to put them together & how they work. Yes, these work BUT in no way do they fit tightly together. First the spike does not begin to have a tight fit to the rod. Secondly, I bought the product to use the 2nd rod to extend the unit to 2 feet & connecting the 2 rods make the unit very unsteady because of the loose connection. Even using the lights with one rod it is unsteady. Keep looking for a better product.
