They do not slide on post,after being in the the sun for a month the whiteTe plastic has Changed to yellow a d the lights do not cycle the colors and more they are junk,go with what you,and get some lights from homedepot walmart or lowes

I was hoping to remove the base and use it on a 3x3 post. It will not work. Product looked good and wish I could have modified them somehow to work.

These really light up my deck. I did not affix them to the deck. I purposely kept them free so I could move them wherever I need the light.

I love the color choices with these lights, warm white, alternating RBG and you can choose a fixed color of your choice! One bad element is the thin plastic casing (arches) around the light. You can easily crack them if you are not careful installing the top of the light. Overall very nice and bright lights, hope they last.

We were pleasantly surprised at how much light these put out, even after receiving and unboxing them to install just before sunset, so they were not given much chance to recharge. But even with that they kept the deck well lit for at least 4 hours, I can't say exactly how long because we went to bed and they were still going strong.I've learned to not expect much from solar lights but these have left me very impressed for the cost.

2 internal post were broken & switches are inside dome so it must be taken apart to change switch, also not as brite as I believed they would be
