It looks great against my house and under my trees. I have 3 of them. Most nights I had to go out and whack them a few times to get them to turn on, and even then they might not stay on. (I opened them up and the batteries all have good connections and have ample charge) I wish they worked better because they really look wonderful. I don't have outdoor outlets so solar is a must.
