Pretty crap device. Motion detection is so slow, so by the time it starts recording the event has already passed. Multiple times someone stole packages right off my porch, and all the camera managed to do was catch a glimpse of their feet in the distance. Absolutely useless for a security camera

Great camera for the price ($39.99). Great functionality and clear images. Solar battery has been outstanding so far. Work is needed on the software in simplifying one's ability to navigate and operate. The software functionality defies any logic, which makes it frustrating. An example would be trying to review past alert video. Almost impossible to go back and review infractions on my property during the previous 24 hours. Again, no logic to it and defies any common sense.

We’ve had this camera over a year and it works perfectly. I also love that it doesn’t capture leaves moving, it actually captures vehicles, people, and animal movements. It is wireless and does charge easily with the solar power panel. Clear videos.

This camera works very well. The picture quality is fantastic. Directions and set up are easy to follow. Installation is pretty simple with minimal tools. Solar panel keeps the unit charged. Micro sd cards keeps monthly fees away not having to need cloud storage. So far this camera has worked very well.

Setup and installation was very easy. Construction of device seems solid. The written booklet instructions were poorly worded in English had several misspellings. Not critical, but it initially gave me a bad impression and some statements were confusing. Downloaded the device's application and found the same issue with how some things are worded. The camera photos and recordings are clear. Incoming audio is decent. The speaker and outgoing voice audio are not very loud even at the highest setting. The siren is loud however. My main concern is that the human detection function does not work well at all. It works when someone is 1-10ft from the camera, but doesn't pick up people walking on the sidewalk. I bought this to record dog walkers who were allowing their pets to poop in my yard. I also wanted to be able to issue audio warnings if I detected this. The audio is too low and the camera doesn't detect humans 15-30ft from the camera. I played around with the detection area and sensitivity settings for over an hour, but could not get the camera to identify humans in the desired zone. Also, due to the poor English instructions in the app, it was confusing which settings would need to be adjusted. Overall it is likely a great camera for most people. Unfortunately for me, it failed to provide everything I was looking for.

A good kit with handy features like solar charging, decent image quality.In terms of storage the only options are sd card and paid subscription. The listing mentions a free 7 day rolling recording which is not the case. Sd card is good enough.

Easy to setup and easy to remove or steal as a simple clip holds it in place. Ensure kept at a decent height. Love the solar charging solution. The cloud service subscription to some unknown service is needed if you want to remotely connect. If not an SD card is good enough to review activity

Now I’ve only had this camera for a few days at this point, so time will tell, BUT I’ll say so far it has exceeded my expectations, especially for the price.It was a very easy setup after charging the battery for a little while and then downloading the app, which is pretty user friendly, especially if you’ve used something similar before.I installed the camera on the front of my garage, overlooking my driveway & front yard. Right off the bat I was really impressed with the picture quality and the broad span of view. I’d thought for what I paid I was going to get a picture like one of those YiLot cameras I’ve tried before, but the picture on this camera couldn’t be any clearer with better definition.The charging cable connected to the solar panel allows you to install it a good 6 ft away from the camera if necessary to place in optimal sunlight, and the mounting bracket allows you to tilt it/adjust for optimal sun reception.The app lets you decide the motion capture sensitivity, along with the alerts you receive, including phone push notices, alarms, and bright motion lights. You can apparently have multiple cameras around your home linked to the app and watch each individually or on a split screen. And each camera has an easy “D-pad” control for an incredible range of movement and viewing.Night vision also surprised me, given the option between black and white or full color. The picture after dark is equally as impressive as during the day.Lastly, I charged the battery before installation and after a couple of days of use the charge indicator in the app is showing nearly a full charge, which if true is amazing as I haven’t had the solar panel plugged in so the battery can go thru it’s drain/charge cycle.I know this sounds too good to be true, but I’ve never left a review like this before and felt necessary because of how much this inexpensive camera surprised me.If anything changes for the negative I’ll update this review.UPDATE: After this camera performing so well after a few weeks I got another for the back of my house and it is working just as well. This is one of those rare surprises. I still highly recommend this camera.

I have never purchased a video camera before, so I did not know much about them. Having had reports of people trying to break into cars in our neighborhood, I decided to purchase 4 video cameras for all 4 sides of my house.I was pleasantly surprised to find that these video cameras on Amazon, were not only perfect for my needs, but they were advertised for one fifth of the original price! What an amazing bargain!I love the idea that I can control the cameras from my phone and can clearly see everything the camera is picking up. The motion detection is on point and actually spotlights any person and every car that passes by. I also like the idea that these cameras are solar and were somewhat simple to install, and they charge rather quickly!I am very happy with my video cameras and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality solar video security system for a highly discounted price.
