I purchased this outdoor lights since their features had be sold. It comes with a motion sensor function, remote control, and it's solar powered capabilities. The lights can be up for several hours or more with the solar technology, making things more convenient. Overall, for those that are looking for outdoor lighting, this is one to consider.

These are really nice outdoor lights. They are very well made and the poles and brackets are made from metal instead of plastic! Woot! I like how they are dusk to dawn at 30% brightness but when they detect motion to go up to 100%! How nice is that?! Also, you can set them on a timer or get rid of the dimming feature. The only issue I have is that the poles were just flopping around in the box and did nick each other. I will be able to fix the blemishes but wish they were wrapped or something to keep them from bouncing around in the box. All in all, good lights and very bright! I would recommend these.

First and foremost, I love anything solar and already own about 6 solar street lights. Unfortunately, one of them is on the fritz due to heavy use and crazy weather. Once I installed/replaced the light with one of these, the area was much more lit than before. It actually has a larger and more sensitive motion detecting area than the previous model. I love that I can install it, adjust the settings with the remote, and forget about it - bc its been working flawlessly since earlier in the week. Also, the charge lasts all through the night. Recommend!

This solar light set will be great for providing motion activated light in my back yard. I can’t see my pups when they go running out of sight and these light will remedy that. Each light comes with two ways to install, pole mount or flat surface mount and have their own separate remotes. Very simple instructions and easy to install.

The light came in a pair and are good for patio lighting, the lights can be installed on the side of a house/shed/cabin or on a thin pole. I used mine for patio lighting and installed them at 8 feet, which covered about a 15x15 area - each. The remote is easy to use and programming the lighting modes is pretty self explanatory. I programmed mine for the dusk to dawn mode.

This two-pack of solar street lights has a lot of nice features, and they put out a good amount of light. We have NO street lights where we live, and we tried just one of these out on our front porch, and it illuminates all the way to the treeline that is at the edge of our lane. They're quite bright for being solar! The PROS:1) Metal mounting brackets with all the necessary hardware is provided.2) They're bright. Very bright. They could illuminate a couple hundred feet of our front yard.3) They've got remote controls that'll let you set how many hours it is lit, the brightness, and even how it reacts as a motion sensor: either off and then on high-brighteness with motion, or on low and then high-brightness with motion. That's very handy and would make them fit your needs.3) They're waterproof.4) Motion-sensing!The CONS:1) As with anything solar, they're always at risk of being damaged if you're in an area prone to hail.2) If you have a LOT of clouds, they may not charge up as quickly.3) No batteries are supplied with the remotes (not a deal-breaker, but thought y'all should know).4) The internal batteries aren't listed as replaceable in the included manual. I will wait until one fails before I open it up to see if I could replace them or not.I was really impressed with how well they lit up our very dark yard.

Reviewing Solar Street Lights Outdoor Waterproof, We have an area on the side of our property that houses trash and recycling cans, but it’s a dark area that buts up against some forested land. We have large carnivores here, like bears and mountain lions, but we also have large ungulates like moose. This is not an area you want to walk into without being able to see and since there are trash and recycling cans there, we must be extra cautious. They are bear proofed, but smells can still get out and most animals are aware of what is inside containers that look like trash and recycling bins, so even if they can’t get inside, they are attracted to them, and they do try to get inside. Hence, this order. We want to light that whole area up so we can see the full area before walking into it at night. These work great. We have them mounted on the side of our shed and between the two of them, we can see the whole area. The fact that they are solar and not hardwired made them super simple to install. They last all night (they get full sun in the day) and have a motion detector setting, in addition to a remote control. The brightness level can be adjusted also, which makes them better than any other lights we’ve tried. These lights make both of us feel safer going to that area at night.
