I replaced a 3 blade 17 pitch with this 4 blade 15 pitch prop. I have a 22' JC Tri-Toon with a Merc 90 on it and this prop works great. With the 17 pitch I could barely get 5000 RPM at WOT so I was barely making the lower end of the recommended RPM range. Now with 8 people on the boat I can spin the recommended RPM of 5500 at WOT I just need to be more careful if the boat is lightly loaded as I will over rev by 100- 200 RPMs. The response is much better with this prop also it doesn't have an issue getting up and going with almost 2000lbs of people and gear in the boat. The only negative I notice is that I can't get the bow of the boat up as much at WOT as I could with the 3 blade, it's still a great improvement over what I had.
