These lighted balls are not too bright, which is a good thing if you want to still look at the stars in the backyard. They are just the right amount of brightness and they lit right up on the first night without needing a charge. They look breakable online, but the balls are solid and thick - a little smaller than I thought, but I really didn't mind.

I love these lights. They have a nice soft glow, I love that they are solar, so I don't have to have electric ran to them, and they have a little extra sparkle to them as my daughter says. They really make it the perfecting lighting for a relaxing evening out on the deck, and they are priced just right!I was able to get mine up and out in the sun when they arrived, and they worked the same night!

These do not give off much light but they are very pretty and work great , it's a soft warm light , I let them drape down a very tall Shepard's hook , it defines a space with a very soft warm not bright light . Long strands , good price and will buy again .

The lights look beautiful, but they don’t give off much light. They also don’t last very long. I don’t know if I don’t have them in the sun long enough so when summer comes, I will try moving them.

Both of my strands worked on the first try. The balls are approximately 1 inch and look like crackled glass. The color is a nice white, not too warm, not too cool. I bought them to hang from the awning on our RV where I was just looking for just enough light to not trip in the dark without lighting up the entire campground. These were perfect. They were rained on and still lit up in the evening.UPDATE: I moved these into my greenhouse. My greenhouse is only 10x12 and the lighted length of these two strings is really short. The lighted length was able to stretch (no slack, pulled straight) down one 12 foot side and bit of the 10 foot side, approximately 14 feet. So both strands together were not able to cover the perimeter of the greenhouse. I never gave the length two thoughts when I used them across my RV awning (they worked great there) but when I moved them to an actual length to light, they are really short. Just thought I'd let you know. I still like them, but make sure you measure the length you want lit since a large portion of the advertised length is just wire with no lights.

I've bought several strands of these because I love them so much they are super versatile.I use them in the summer on the back porch, in the winter on Christmas bushes and even bought some to decorate my dad's Christmas tree at his gravestone. They are perfect for all the seasons and for those places u just don't want to run a cord a mile away from the house.Several different settings make it easy to get the perfect look u want. They perform as expected with several settings and even a blink and slow blink mode. I've had a couple strands last a couple years guessing the battery life does out.Well worth the longevity considering the low scale cost.

I let them charge outside for about 24 hours so they would work as soon as we installed them. They’re very lightweight; here they are affixed only with twist ties. The lights really do not turn on until it’s dim or dark out. We were able to test them by covering the solar panels. The first picture is taken from inside at night, and the second one with my son was taken outside around sundown. The various modes are cool. We used both strings here. After I took the picture with my son I moved the panels to outside where they would get sunlight during the day.
