So long as I don't hit the corner of my house, it's worth it!

Perfect replacement for the one that broke off. Got the other half too just so I could replace both at the same time. Like others said it does not come with screws. 3/6 of the original screws were so rusted they were unusable so I’ll have to buy more but I had enough to get the part installed! I saw some people needed to modify the part to get it to fit but I had no issue. I have a 2016 Shasta Oasis.

I think you want to go to the store to find this product. This one doesn't fit with the back that I bought even thought they were suggested to buy on this site. They also don't come with any screws to attach them. Disappointed in this purchase.

New to the world of motorhomes, I think this item might have been listed wrong. It says it's a head front cover and it fits, what I think would be the back head cover. But not a problem, because with a little Gorilla glue and a band saw I was able to convert it, to what I think is a front cover. Now the beauty of it is, it was a used product, it fits perfectly and only cost $4.00. Now my other options would have been to take it to RV service center. Probably pay a couple of hundred dollars and take 3 months to get it back, or buy a new one for substantially more money. So I feel very good about this purchase. Thank you Amazon.

I damaged my awning head cover on my Solera awning while backing in my Grand Design Imagine, when I got too close to a tree. I thought this would be an exact replacement to the one found on my 1 year old RV when I saw it on Amazon. But it isn't. It is similar, but it required modification of the grooves at the bottom with a utility knife and drilling new mounting holes to anchor the back half to the power head. The factory screw holes did not match the OEM Solera covers. Will it work, will it look good afterwards? Yes it will. The hole for the motor shaft lines up and the cover is a similar in shape and exactly the same black color as the OEM. It took me a few extra minutes, a utility knife, a pencil, a drill and some longer flat screws but I think I saved a lot of money DIYing it instead of taking it to the dealership for bodywork. If I have to do it again. I would buy it again. If your not handy or just don't like to putz with it, go get the OEM part from the factory dealership.
