Started glitching within first few weeks, now doesn’t work half the time as it will just turn off then turn on randomly. Seems like a problem with contacts. Quite disappointed as I loved the colors . Can’t return as it’s outside of the time window. Waste of money

Bought these for my bike on my ride home at night. They are very bright and noticable. I can tell, I'm visible from a big distance. Also, easy to install and remove.They function well. I mainly use the continuous on mode, but I've tested the other modes and they all work as intended. I just like them to stay on when I stop at intersections.Charging is a bit difficult. The small connection hole is hard to use when the lights are installed. The tire spokes interfere. I just remove the lights, charge and reinstall. They last me about a month on one charge. (Only require about 20-25 minutes a night, 4-5 times a week)

This is my third set.My first set used micro-usb and charging port was on the inside ring, necessitating that you remove them to charge em which was a little annoying.Still, they worked great and I received many comments. Sadly, even though I was very visible, I still got hit by a speeding, distracted driver when I was crossing a street and my lights were destroyed.I ordered replacements, but they wouldn't stay on for more than a few seconds.I ordered these... the USB-C charging ports have a rubber(silicone?) cover on their side, so you don't have to remove them to charge anymore.They seem brighter than my first set too.I downgraded then a star because after a couple weeks, one had half of its lights short out, so unsure how durable these are. It was quickly replaced thoughUPDATE: Replacements also failed after a couple weeks of use. So they changed the design in good ways, but apparently used cheaper materials. I would no longer recommend, they're just not reliable

A nice feature is that the lights turn on by a combination of motion and low lighting conditions so you don't have to turn them on and off once you select your preferred setting. They are very easy to install. I used the thickest padding for the front wheel that has a smaller spoke diameter, and the middle thickness padding for the back wheel that has the larger diameter hub.

Only potential negative is that jolts on the bicycle from uneven terrain may cause realignment of the charging port which may make it a challenge to charge the unit.

Pro: good to light up in a city of narrow streets and needing to be seen by cars. Fun night effects. Clear design keeps from being stolen at the bike rack.Con: difficult to charge as the plug is on the side on the light. Disk brake and sprocket on each side make it almost impossible to plug in. Its noted that the clip may break so i cant take them off to charge. Water proof is limited as the cover pulls off.Charging: I use a portable battery pack to charge both at the same time. Half hour charge lasts about 8 hours.

I've read the descriptions on all the other brands of this type of hub lights, and these are the only brand that automatically turn on when they detect motion, and off automatically when there is no motion for 30 seconds! On top of that they detect day light, and will turn on automatically when it is dusk like a car.They need to be removed to charge, no biggie though (plug is too difficult to do while in the wheel).I bought two sets, one was defective and I returned it, such is common among LED light gadgets and so they are as good as any out there quality wise.
