They're fantastic strings with a little more feel than the non soft version. I find that I have more feel for volleys, drop shots and slice shots.

Diese Hyper G Saite ist eine perfekte Prügelsaite, hält lange und macht Spass zu spielen. Allerdings nicht so viel Gefühl diese Saite, aber für Topspin sehr geeignet!! Wer richtig draufprügelt ist mit dieser Saite sehr zufrieden, dann würde ich allerdings die 1.30 empfehlen die hält dann länger!!

I'm a medium to strong hitter, and I like to keep the ball in the racket bed the longest. Of course, this comes with a price that arm and shoulder usually pay. This Hyper G Soft string is effectively easy on the arm, and you can, to a large extent, hit big without worrying about punishing your arm. The tension maintenance is ok, but it's not like the gut strings.If you are a medium hitter, I recommend the 16 gage. If you like to swing hard, use 16L; they are tighter and more precise.

I had elbow issues in the past and using gut and multi filaments helped but lacked the control I had in the past using poly strings. Solinco Hyper G soft 17 is definitely arm friendly, pockets the ball well, and gives more spin potential than multi filaments. I use a Head Prestige mid with the smallest head size 95. The Solinco string improved the spin for the 16 X 19 string pattern. A lively string, great control, and arm friendly. Strung at 52 mains , 50 crosses. Holds tension well and a great price! Recommended

These have been my go-to strings for a couple of years now. I had been using Hyper-G for a few years before that, but didn't learn about this 'soft' version until I ordered a few sets by mistake. I find these to have all of the best qualities of regular hyper-g but in a truly soft and arm-friendly version.They hold their tension extremely well and are definitely soft. They have great feel and the strings are extremely consistent. I can't remember the last time I've broken a bed of these, and I don't re-string racquets as often as I should.For reference, I think these are as soft as Poly Tour Pro, and they offer easier spin. I've tried dozens of other strings but keep coming back to these. A massive compliment I can give is that I probably prefer them overall to Champion's Choice. I definitely prefer Hyper-G Soft when accounting for price and ease of stringing.There are different strings out there but I don't think there are any that could be considered "better." I doubt I'll change anytime soon.
