About this item

  • Solinco Hyper-G Soft Tennis String is a slightly softer version of one of the most popular spin strings on the market. Hyper-G Soft's unique shape helps grab the ball to allow for explosive topspin from the back of the court. Hyper-G Soft will play more comfortably than Hyper-G but still offer a more controlled response that Solinco is known for. Construction: Monofilament Copolyester Color: Green Gauge: 16L / 1.25 mm | 16G / 1.30 mm | 17G / 1.20 mm | 18G / 1.15 mm Length: 40 ft

These are my go to strings for my racquet. They are affordable, durable, and do a great job absorbing the shock as you play. Love the color too! Perfect with my Wilson Blade at 53 tension.

Great quality, comfort, durability, power and spin for the tension that I used on 47lb. I will recommend this string to my friends or anyone.

This string was nice on my arm and it still had lots of spin. It was very fun to play with, I highly recommend it.

I love hyper G soft. The regular hyper G makes my whole entire arm and shoulder feel like it's going to fall off. I prefer the 17 and 18 gauge...16 feels like hitting with a 2x4. I find that I get great power and spin (more spin with the 18) and I find the tension maintenance to be acceptable. I am a 4.0/4.5 player and play about 6-10 hours per week and find that I don't have to restring too often, and I have yet to break a set. I can break a multi string after hitting just a few times.

Have really liked this string in my Wilson Burn 100s rackets. Has a fairly soft feel for poly. String tension could last a bit longer. I probably get about 4-5 matches before they start getting too loose and I have to re-string. But in all, I like the soft feel (for poly) and the spin these strings produce.

The string combined with lower tension (45-48 lb) helps release any elbow issue.

I love these strings. The first time I hit with them it completely changed my idea of what my ideal string feels like. I wanted a good amount of spin without sacrificing too much power and this worked well for me.

I use these on my Prostaff 97L. Good control with adequate power. I have only used the "soft" Solinco because it should be easier on my arm.

I put these strings into a racquet that I just could not get on with and it had really transformed the way it plays. To give some background, I had my old racquets stolen and I had always strung them myself using Multi filament and knew what I liked. I bought a much newer version of my racquet and the manufacturer recommended poly strings. As I had not had much experience stringing poly I paid to have the recommended strings put in at the recommended tension, got to start somewhere and seems fair to start with that. Well, the strings felt barely ok for a couple of sessions and then just fell off a cliff and I think a fair description would be turned to crap! I tried a couple of tensions and strings (from the manufacturer) and the same. I thought hell, its got to be me and went out and bought the larger headed version of the racquet as it should be more forgiving and powerful and it was worse! Sweet spot was miniscule and nada spin - instant bin fodder. To cut this increasingly long story short, I spoke to a few stringing friends who recommended hyper-g and wow, just wow. The larger headed racquet that was due to be hidden at the back of the shed with other mistakes is now my preferred stick. The original, smaller headed one is also soooooooo much better too but I will be sticking with the bigger one for now.Yes, polys are deader than multis and yes I am sure I could string the racquet with multi and have it feel nicer but..... Solinco hyper-g gives more power and spin than most multis without compromising control much at all and not feeling like a bag of poo. On top of this it has also made the racquet far more useable by increasing the size of the sweet spot considerably.
