Looks great. Doesn't lock. Feels like half a millimeter too big. Pin lock looks good. If it opens even once while riding, I'll be updating the rating and returning it.

I love the color and the inside blue tint for riding at night. Now, installing the visor takes some patience and some observation to ensure it's all on track. It fits, but takes some wiggling and a little pressure. I think it is a wonderful replacement and will buy again. Additionally, the top of the visor seems off track, but it's just a lip so don't freak out. It is worth the value and came in a huge box with all kinds of padding. No instructions, but YouTube could help. I spray my visors with water resistant applicators, but this should be just fine as is. If you're in the ropes, buy it. Fits my scorpion exo 420.

Update: I’m only writing this now because the issues before were manageable but now…not so much. In the third photo you can see damage to the helmet locking visor locking system. After regular use for about 2 months, the locking system of the visor has over time damaged the locking system on the helmet and now the visor does not properly close, and especially stay closed. The visor pops up when there is wind and is a constant nuisance. I compared the locking system of this visor to the original clear one that came with helmet and the locking systems are very different. The locking on this visor I now realize is much less capable and pretty cheaply made.Original Review: I have a Scorpion exo-r420 helmet, installation was fine, but it’s pretty tight. Moving the visor up and down is not as smooth. It also came with fogging pins that were not in the description or image for the product. The tint works very well and is clear, but mine came with some imperfections including a decent scratch at the top of the visor. Another thing with the tint is that you very can still see inside the helmet, either when there’s light shining directly at you and or up close. Conclusion, it’s alrightPros: Uv/sun protection works well, very clear view, looks great, easy installation, decent value.Cons: Slight defects, unexpected pins, still see through the visor in a lot of ways.

Handles the glaring sun well and hasn't been too dark for the occasional travel at night. It sucks at night in thunderstorms, but I'd imagine that's not the primary concern most people reading this have. Doesn't scratch easily, hasn't peeled or flaked, and outside of looking nice, it's simply functional. Visor has stayed locked at roughly 190mph, and this review is after using it for roughly 3000-4000 miles. I'd purchase again.

I ordered a mirrored visor for day rides and it's for the exact same helmet. HOWEVER, IT DOESNT FIT. I tried for 10 minutes and couldn't, went back to the clear one thinking "maybe I'm doing it wrong.." and instantly managed to put back the clear one. The mirrored version for whatever stupid reason is just not correctly manufactured and will refuse to install. And the one time I did manage to install it, it wouldn't slide back up and made a clicking almost cracking sound so I gave up on it.Absolute garbage visor.

I love Soman visor shield replacements. I have a Shoei RF1400 and a Scorpion R420 helmet and Soman shield replacements exceed my expectation.Likes:1.Perfectly fit as if it was the OEM visor that came with my EXO-R4202.Look cooler with my helmet than the Deep Smoke.3.I consult their customer service and they recommend Transparent Revo One for me according to my demand. I n the day, it keeps the sun from blinding me and I have a clear view at night!4.It's held up pretty well during my use of it and seems pretty sturdy.Dislike:1.A little bit lighter than the OEM shield. But, if you are not a pretty-professional user, you can ignore that.2.I wish it more colors can be choosed, hhhhh.Overall, worth the sacrifice to me to not spend so much money on a visor.
