These for sure minimize the sound. I bought this to keep sound out of my room. I would say you can still hear it but it is for sure muffled.

Decided to place them like a chessboard because I realized it might look like a psych ward if I covered the whole wall. Definitely muffles the sound of the gym. Cheap and easy to install. For some reason bugs get caught on it so you might want to clean it from time to time.

These were very easy to hang and cut into shape. They don’t completely cut out sound but noticed a huge difference in our bedroom. They are inexpensive and fit great.

Placed these on the back of a barndoor that is the entrance to my office. Adhesion was great, material cuts smoothly with sharp boxcutter or exacto knife. I don't have any quantitative proof, but it really seems to reduce/absorb sound from the outside. I'm pleased. The panels are what I expected them to be.
