Distinguished by its updated sensor design, the Sony a7 III is a well-rounded camera suitable for both photo and video applications in a variety of working situations. Refined for improved speed and low-light performance, the full-frame 24.2MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor pair to realize an impressive 10 fps continuous shooting rate and improved autofocus performance for faster, more reliable subject tracking along with wide frame coverage.
Full-Frame BSI Sensor and BIONZ X Processor
Featuring a back-illuminated design, the full-frame 24.2-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor works with the BIONZ X image processor to offer high-resolution stills and video while minimizing noise and improving speed. The BSI design also dramatically improves data transmission speed for creating 14-bit, high-resolution stills with a native sensitivity range from ISO 100-51200, which can be further expanded to ISO 50-204800. Also, it enables internal UHD 4K video recording with a wide dynamic range using the full width of the full-frame sensor. The BIONZ X processor also works in conjunction with a high-speed front-end LSI to realize faster processing times along with the ability to capture an impressive 15-stop dynamic range at low sensitivity values.
Body Design
Magnesium-alloy chassis assures rigidity, durability, and stability while remaining lightweight. The lens mount has also been improved to better support heavy lenses and the grip rigidity has been improved for more comfortable hand-holding.
Autofocus and Image Stabilization
An evolved 4D FOCUS system now employs a combination of 693 phase-detection points, which cover approximately 93% of the frame, along with 425 contrast-detection areas for reliable and quick autofocus and subject tracking performance. This Fast Hybrid AF System now achieves twice the focusing speed and more reliable tracking compared to previous a7 models, as well as improved low-light focusing.
5-Axis SteadyShot INSIDE Image Stabilization
Packed into the robust a7 III is a 5-stop effective 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization system that compensates for five different types of camera shake encountered during handheld shooting of stills and video. This allows users to confidently use any lens, even adapted lenses, for critical imaging without encountering blur from camera shake.

Glad I finally broke down and brought this camera (and upgraded from my Nikon D3300 crop sensor camera). It's been everything and more than I would have expected in a FULL FRAME camera. Still learning more and more about this camera, but could be more satisfied with it. Don't know how I'll be able to upgrade from this camera and I know it will serve me well for a very long time.If you don't have one (and can afford it)...GET ONE!

I love this camera and i searched and this was my best option , the kit came with everything shown on screen. The software is a redeemable code(s) .. the light takes 4 AA batteries not included. I recommend setting up your camera first for best results. Theres a couple of good set up vids on youtube.. I recommend this kit. Thank you . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great camera. Lens is good enough for beginners but not professional purposes. I got gmaster 24-70 lens. The only disadvantage is 30 recording limit.

This is a first impression review since I only had it for a few days. This may be a lengthy review, so for all you TLDR crowd: Camera and kit lens is as expected (loving it so far). Most of the items in the bundle is of questionable quality. This review will focus on the components/items in the bundle. The seller (Cardinal Camera and Video Center) shipped extremely quickly as I received the camera bundle in 3 days (non-prime).My bundle came with: Sony camera with kit lens, (2) Transcend 64GB V30 SD memory cards, Triopo TTL Automatic Flash, Ultimaxx 3PC 55mm Filters set (UV, CPL, and FL-D), Ultimaxx 5PC 55mm Macro set, Vivitar Extra Battery, Ultimaxx 60” Tripod, Commander 57” Monopod, Xit XTCC4 camera case/bag, Commander IR shutter remote, and a 5PC Video/Software Editing Software Package by Movavi.Sometime I notice is some of the items had that lovely smell that’s similar to the tools I buy from Harbor Freight. I only plan on using the memory cards and the extra battery. I would use the TTL flash but the included flash was made for Canon cameras and not Sony. I emailed the seller and hopefully they will send me the correct flash. The flash feels lighter than my Andoer flash for my Nikon camera. The battery door seems pretty fragile compare to the Andoer flash. I do not plan on using anything else as the rest feels cheap and of lesser quality. The tripod and monopod feels extremely cheap. The camera bag seems ok but doesn’t inspire quality either. I don’t use filters so I wont bother testing them. The free editing software seems decent based on the YouTube videos I watched but I don’t plan on using them since I currently use DXO Photolab. You get a paper with the URL to download the software’s. The activation codes are list on the paper.So why am I getting this review 5 stars? For the price I’ve paid, the accessories was free as the bundle is the same price as the camera with kit lens. Free is free and I never had high expectations of the accessories. I still feel this bundle is great for those who looking to buy their first Sony Interchangeable Lens Camera. Those people may find the free accessories useful or at least get them by until they can buy better quality gear. If you’re able to buy this bundle for the same price as the camera with kit lens, you can’t go wrong. If the price is higher, only you can determine with the extra cost is worth it.
