I put this in Sony Handycam Hi8 and it will not run. I have tried play and fast forward and neither works! Unfortunately, I did not try it until almost two months after ordering so I am out $25!

This product does exactly what it is supposed to do. When the clean drive indicator light comes on on your Sony AIT1/2/3 or Turbo Drive you simply insert this cartridge and let it do its thing. It normally takes less than a minute to clean the drive. We usually only get around 20-25 cleanings out of them, so the 36 cleaning specification may be a bit generous.
