The speaker works great. Looks and works like new. There are a few tricks to get these to work the way I want, but once I got it right, it's pretty good. Paired with a HT-A3000 and a HT-A5000. Works great with both.Thanks for having this at half price renewed

This sub has seen very little use. I bought Sony soundbar rear speakers and subwoofer. I intended to change over from Samsung to Sony. My next purchase from Amazon would have been the Sony OLED 55 inch BRAVIA XR A80L Tv. After having the Sony wireless speakers hooked up to my Samsung for a little over a year the Sony SA-SW3 200W Wireless Subwoofer would not power up. I contacted Sony support they refused to warranty the Sony SA-SW3 200W Wireless Subwoofer since it was out of warranty a few months. The young lady then gave me a number to their consumer repair service. I talked with another young lady at their consumer repair service. She informed me that they do not work on products out of warranty. I replied so this subwoofer is essentially a paper weight. She answered yes said sorry but their is nothing we can do. Definitely not changing over from Samsung to Sony after this experience.If you decide to purchase this sub I recommend you get it from your local retail store. Make sure you purchase the extended warranty. There is a reason there are so many online stores selling this sub as a refurb.

Setup was a snap after I downloaded the instructions from Sony. My HT-5000 soundbar immediately synced with the subwoofer. Volume is easily adjusted with SB remote. This really adds depth to the audio without being in your face.

First question is whether you need a subwoofer. Refurbished from Appario is like a new one . No doubt in quality. But I have noticed slight dip in over all sound quality at the cost of providing great bass after adding sub and rears. The openness and detailing of the sound from the bar is little compromised after adding components .Comparing the performance of bar these are very costly additions. For music purposes bar alone is the best. But for making the system complete and playing with sound you can buy the subwoofer

This product came out of the box with no scratches, and it paired to my system without any glitch. It was like I received a brand new bass speaker for half the price.

The sub produces great lows paired with the Sony HTA5000. Can easily rock a medium size room easily. Have it in a14x20 room, I can feel the bass through out the whole room.No cons so far..
