Genuine cowhide has irregular grain, pores, and lustre. Pressing down with your hand can feel the smoothness and elasticity.
2. Burn & Observe
Genuine leather burns with white smoke, synthetic/fake leather burns with black smoke, and genuine leather is more flammable and burns a little longer than fake leather.
3. Smell
Genuine leather smells like animal proteins (some may find it offensive but not pungent) and when lit smells like human hair being burned; whereas fake leather usually smells like pungent plastic when burned.

Fear of puncture at the bottom？
Leather is not effective in blocking overly sharp arrows, if your arrows have sharp blades it is recommended that you can cut an oval acrylic sheet to place on the quiver base.
Worried About Arrows not Easily Accessed?
The 3-point system and adjustable buckle allow you to quickly adjust the height of the arrow quiver. It is recommended that you keep the quiver high on your back so that you can access the arrow quickly!
Worried About the Straps Slipping off Easily?
Adjusting the length of the shoulder straps so that they fit snugly over the shoulders will improve the problem. But you still need to be aware of your body shape/non-slip clothing etc.

My son loved this quiver for his arrows. It is well made and has ample straps to easily position the way you like it. The leather and texture design are well done and look great. This is nice since I can adjust it for myself if needed. Nice to have for archery or costume.
