I wanted a storage bin I could throw non-perishables and other constantly accessed items in, but I didn't want to have to get organizers that sat on the shelf. This under-the-shelf storage bin was perfect for my needs, and it works great. That being said, the installation was a bit strange, and I did the best with what they give you.The bin is metal and is made well; I was impressed with the depth and amount of volume it held. It was coated in a black enamel and is smooth to the touch. It comes with an adjustable separator that you don't have to use if you don't need it. It can hold a good amount of items before it starts hanging down a little; however, here is where the installation is important.It comes with self-adhesive tabs with plastic hooks on them that clip onto the bin. You are supposed to adhere the bin to the bottom of the shelf and place the two long handles above the shelf. In theory, this works great until you start adding a good amount of things. The two arms that reach over the top are a bit thin and springy. They will begin to lose their springiness and allow the bin to start sagging. For this, the adhesive pads were just not secure enough for me, so I used a couple of tiny wood screws to mount the rear of the bin to the bottom of the shelf. It worked perfectly, and for the price point and functionality, I am very happy with it.

This is s great little shelf. I just slid it under a shelf in my pantry, suddenly, I have storage for all my tuna fish in easy reach.

I got this to add a little bit of extra shelf space to my pantry and it has done just that. It fits perfectly under one of the shelves and is sturdy and secure. I use it to put extra canned goods in so that frees up some space on the shelf above it. The divider that came with it doesn’t really stay in place great but honestly it’s not really needed so not a big deal. It’s one piece, so nothing to put together. Literally took it right out of the box and hung it in the pantry and put cans in it.
