I was hoping this would be a shorts version of their long MB pants (which are great), but the fabric and build are different. This has a loose “parachute” feel that doesn’t accommodate the bulky seat padding very well, and it just doesn’t have a rugged feel that lends well to mountain biking. The padding is so thick and heavy it’s almost like having another seat built into the shorts. The pockets should be deeper too.

I needed to replace my existing bike shorts and had not shopped for any in a very long time (years!!). I didn't realize that there were now "grades" of padding for cycle shorts and how much style designs had changed. I ordered different brands, sizes, etc. to narrow down a selection. I ended up with 2-pairs of these shorts in black. Very comfortable to wear and ride in, plenty of pocket space, and they seem that they will be very durable for years. An all-around great product for me so far!!

These shorts are lightweight, well made, and supportive in the right places to pad the tailbone while riding. I highly recommend them.

I upgraded to these more mountain biking style shorts even though I ride on the road they have a much better padding in the groin area and it keeps everything nice and comfortable.

These biking shorts are nice looking and comfortable. Plenty of pockets that securely hold the items in them. Padding is good. Have no problems wearing these in public. My new favorite shorts.

Suppose it was my own fault, but why are there two shorts in this purchase? I thought the picture showed different colors available.I bought a much larger size than normal because I didn't want them super tight. They "both" fit well and seem to be well made.
