So like I said this sub needs a very large box in order to perform well. I’ve had this sub twice now the first one I had in two different boxes first box was a 3 ft.³ box slot ported and it didn’t perform so well. I bought a larger prefab box, also slot ported, off of Amazon and this sub came alive. About a year later I bought the same sub again for a different car and I ordered a custom built box that was built to the subwoofers specifications and wow, does it slam! This sub has my rear windshield leaking. My whole car shakes like crazy. I’m close to floating a shirt on a single sub. 2 of these and I’d be windy. Thinking of buying another and having a custom box built for 2. Highly impressed. I have it powered by a Soundstream Reserve 8000.1D and my box is tuned at 30hz. It gets low. Frequency response is 18hz-50hz and above. Did a sweep and it performed well at low and high end. Subwoofer requires a loosening period of about 1 month of daily use. It just gets better the more it loosens up. I’ve had this sub for about 4 months now and had it before for a whole year and it lasted. Just don’t clip it right out the box. It will blow, ask me how I know. Let it loosen up before you send it to the moon!

ill add videos and pics to this soon but let me tell you im grabbing 1 more for the price and the insane lows ground shaking bass its more than worth it! if. you wanna drive by your friends house and shake their house this subwoofer is the one!
