I debated whether or not to pay this much for a bladder when I could have purchased an entire 3L pack for less (which I did and returned.) But ultimately, I like my old pack and only needed a 3L bladder to replace my 2L. This was the only low-profile one I found. Fortunately, it didn't disappoint! The quality all-around is great! It's very sturdy and thick. The tube is insulated and also thick for easy flow. The valve is pullout so no more biting. It also has a cap on it for added protection from leaking. I can't think of a thing I'd change except the price! NOTE: Be sure to close the valve and put on the cap when finished lest your remaining water should leak all over!

Great system. Love the "ziplock" style access to the bladder, for adding and cleaning. The screw cap kinds are almost impossible to clean. The large ziplock style opening makes that easy. The high flow tube/head is also the best I've encountered. Rather than biting down, a dealing with that restricted flow, you pull and it opens, making drinking very easy. You don't feel like your sucking a thick ice cream shake.. I also like the low profile design, that keeps it relatively flat, compared to others I have that round out, and take up too much room in my back pack. I liked it so much, I bought an extra, and plan on buying the smaller 1l option too. ...if I have to list a downside, it's just the price. Wish it was cheaper, but you're getting a much higher quality pack. The bladder is made of much thicker material than my others too, so should last longer and not puncher easily.

Not much to say about it other than that it works. I like the roll-top design much better than screw-top reservoirs. The cap on the mouthpiece helps keep it nice and clean. The insulation along the tubing is about as effective as I thought it would be (which is to say it's not very effective), but the reservoir itself keeps ice water cool for a good few hours. Fits perfectly in my Osprey Archeon 45.I've never had any issues whatsoever with plasticky flavor, so I have to wonder if those complaining about that cleaned it properly before use.

Tested it for a year on numerous hikes, no leaks whatsoever, all parts click into place and never let go, no smell or taste if you dry it well after use (I do). The only gripe would be tough moving lock at the end where you drink from, but overall cant complain!

Perfect solution for my new "5.11 Tactical RUSH 12" EDC Backpack. Having the smallest of the RUSH bags means it's only designed to fit a 1.5 liter hydration reservoir/bladder, but this Widepac Low-Profile 3 Liter fits perfectly! I didn't want to waste space and just put a 1.5L in there and this uses it all up nicely without getting in the way or causing the hydration pocket not to zip closed. A normal 2L or 3L bladder would never fit but this worked out and I'm very glad it did.

This is a great hydration bladder. Fits perfectly in my Rush 12 pack. The huge opening is great for cleaning and filling. It is as low profile as a 3L bladder can be. Much higher quality than my old camelback pack. I expect years of use out of this with no problems!
