Mechanic here.. This is needed if you upgraded to a Single mass flywheel. I replaced my dual mass flywheel with a single ceramic clutch and this made a world of difference. Before replacing I was grinding gears, clutch grabbing on the floor and rollover noise very Loud. On this unit hydraulics are larger than factory OEM. Truck shift like new again clutch grabs at the top and shifts like butter rollover noise still there but less. This went on Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins

Junk... had it on for two weeks and it failed on a stock clutch. Waste of money. Update. Costomer service was great on making it right.

I just got this master and slave today. I am really excited to have a good one the last 2 slave and masters I bought from OTHER companies were both not adjustable and they were both defective. I thought for a long time that my clutch was going out but once I disconnected the slave for a test I quickly realized I was wrong. My trouble was that the defective slave was pushing to hard against the fork. I ordered another and it did the same thing! So now I have ordered what I am very hopeful will be my last part for the clutch side of my 2005 dodge 3500. Adjustable master cylinders are awesome my old Nissan 240sx always had one, you can get the clutch exactly where you are comfortable with the pedal engaging. They are or at least in 240sx are a pain to adjust "well at least on a 240sx and with me being 6'3'' lol . I am hoping this will be a bit easier.
