Steam autoclavable at 121 degrees C (250"F), chemical resistant, and heat resistant to 177 degrees C (350 degrees F). This is actually just what I was looking for and seems great. (I haven't tested accuracy but *assume* it's OK.) It's clear and stiff plastic (not soft, flimsy, filmy stuff like some others). The shape and capacity are both great. No complaints.

Very good heavy quality. I've purchased these before from various scientific websites and this brand is better than the others without having to pay tons of money. Very clear and glass like so you can clearly see the graduations.

I'm sorry to say but I was disappointed because I thougt it was glass cylinder. The listing does not disclose that it was plastic cylinder. It's not even worth to me the shipping.

These are high quality cylinders made of polypropylene (PP), and as expected, they stood up well to some high abuse. These are not something that is going to break on you! (I made holes in the bottom by hammering a nail through, and was able to make the hole without any shattering or cracking.)The only problem is that the inside of the cylinder is tapered (NOT a right angle inside!), so that the bottom is narrower than the top. This would not matter, except that I purchased them to use as molds, and these were taller and narrower than their equivalents in standard dimensions, as well as having an unexpected taper!I have since purchased a different brand that was the exact dimensions I was expecting, and have been very happy with the results.Other than that, these are sturdy, perfectly manufactured with very clear and easy to read graduation marks, and an overall high quality graduated cylinder that I would recommend for normal laboratory use. They are simply not a standard size, but if you are using them to measure liquids as intended, this does not matter. The volume is correct.
