I can’t believe I spent almost $30 on this ripoff product! All of the negative reviews are justified! This thing is rather small, which isn’t apparent in the photos, and cheaply made. Not surprisingly, it doesn’t work at all using the water flow rate recommended on the enclosed spec sheet. I bet this thing only costs a few pennies to manufacture with an outrageous markup. Come to think of it, it did do a great job profitably vacuuming money out of my pocket for the seller! Save your money and stay away from this product!

This thing pulls absolutely no vacuum at all. I tried various flow rates and other stuff and nothing still. Waste of money

Worked very well, better than the stainless steel one bought at the same time.Easily got 25inHg vacuum. Ordering more.

For vacuum filtering. Used to recover solvent.

Got it to work at 11 PSI after fixing cracked housing for vac takeoff which I probably caused. Worked great with city water pressure (55 PSI max). With one pump, I had to submerge it to get it above single digitsbut then it took right off and did -28" Hg continuously. With some more adjustments, got a -29.3" Hg with a 25 PSI max pump

I have used this type of aspirator in my Chemistry classes for decades and have never purchased one that did not include the long plastic leg portion (even their photo on Amazon and the photo in the Instructions shows this tube). Don't buy it, it will not work properly.

This thing is useless. I added a T adapter to the cold water supply to sink and ran PVC tubing from it to a valve for supply regulation and then to the aspirator. Water always travels against the vacuum and into filter flask, I have to turn the flow down to a trickle basically to not get water flow through the vacuum inlet. I don't think it even pulls a vacuum. Waste of money, and I spent another 40 for the water line supplies.

Not sure I like this. The pressure is quite low using a diaphragm pump. On a sink I needed to turn both cold and hot even though the water pressure is very high. The water main should have a pressure regulator it's so high. The extension tube for water output causes water to get in the air line, so that is useless. Otherwise it did get to 27.5Hg as it states. I just don't plan on distilling with this hooked to a sink. Need a better solution.
