Using an small piece of the tape (~2") and a permanent fine tip marker, I mark the date leftovers created/in to fridge. Voila, no more mystery experiments!

The labels were inconsistent in their adhesion and were particularly poor if placed in a freezer. Condensation upon removal from a freezer usually caused the labels to loose adhesion. Some spools only accepted marking with difficulty.

It doesn't stick and its surface is too glossy to write on. The corners of the tape come folding up within seconds after you put it on. Terrible. I cannot believe I paid so much for this crap. I already used some of it so I cannot return it without hassle. I will write it off as 'big mistake, never again' sort of thing. And yes, I have been working in a scientific laboratory with science-grade tape for a decade. And this definitely is not it. Even Fisher brand is better, which says it all.

Summary: Labeling tape with wide application possibilities.Random Comments:- It's billed as labeling tape for scienceware, and it works well for that purpose.- Easy to remove.- Decent sticking power when it gets wet after being applied to glassware.- Easy to write on if you have a sharpie marker.- Not so easy to write on if you're attempting to use a gel pen or a pencil...I suppose pencil's okay but not as nice as a sharpie.- It's a bit on the expensive side. Not sure I'd use it to wrap up frozen meat just because of the cost thing, but just using it as a labeling thing would be fine.- Nice variety of color. White's always useful. Green's pretty. Yellow is nice and bright, calls attention to what you're labeling.Conclusion: Labeling tape that works great.

the tap holds great to just about everything. I got it for labeling my baby daughters sippy cups at daycare. the tape stays on even in the dishwasher but the permanent marker writing disappears gradually over 3 or 4 washes

I have loved this tape since I ran into it in undergrad chemistry. Very handy for labeling tupperware with contents and dates. It can be written upon with Sharpie and removed easily, leaving little or no residue.

I highly recommend this tape if you have any lab ware that has to be labeled.Sticks to glass and plastic without a problem. Survives hot water and even a few chem spills (depends on the chem).Ive been using sharpies to write on it since they are mostly waterproof.Once the sharpie solvent does its thing, the writing isn't going anywhere.The 1" core that this part# is for is very handy for placing and ripping with your hands.

I used this for years when I was a chemist. Very easy to write on. It sticks well but is really easy to remove.
