im revising an older review...initially i had pretty fairly written this one criticism:>it's actually very inconvenient, it doesn't even fan out in any aesthetically pleasing way, and again, wayyy too much water is wasted when i try to fill a watering jug for my plants, and i have a lotttt of plants. speaking of wasting water:to be fair, the issues could easily be unrelated to this faucet/spout, but ever since i installed this (securely and without error, i had a qualified friend facetime installation) my giant hot water tank runs out of hot water in under 30 min when i shower, and water seems to want to come out of every crack in like the shower parts and even the handles... i fix one issue and a few weeks later theres another..

We replaced a nozzle that was installed for a shower option which our tub does not have a shower so we just needed a spout. It has a different look for a spout more modern I'd say. Easy to install over existing water pipe and secure with set screw. Great water flow, great value for our money.

Exactly what I was looking for in my new bathroom remodel. The tub spout that was included with the fixtures required a specific length metal pipe and the threads would not line up so the spout would point perfectly downward. I purchased a waterfall spout and it included zero instructions and the male nipple had to be installed at the exact depth in the wall for a correct installation. This SPEAKMAN spout only requires a 1/2" copper pipe 1 3/4" to 3" length outside the surface of the tile, it slips on, tightened with a hex wrench (included) and you're done. AND the spout includes easy to read and understand set of instructions that makes for a perfect installation. Definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful spout. Very heavy and set up to take a straight piece of 1/2" copper tubing between 1 1/2 and 3" long out of the wall. It secures with a screw on the bottom. There's a small o-ring in the spout that, hopefully, seals so water doesn't come back and drain out the screw hole on the bottom.Make sure the pipe is nice and clean and smooth. Use some Scotch Brite pads and grease the o-ring.

I am happy with the look and quality of this spout. It was lower in price to similar spouts with this style and I'm really happy with the style, look and quality, I'd recommend it to anyone considering one.

I purchased this for our bathroom because we wanted something less square without hard edges that might rust. Our previous one was more than 30 years old and looked it. Our plumber put this one it in in a few minutes. There was nothing extra needed. In fact, he liked it so much, he took down the information to recommend it to others. We have had it a few weeks now and it looks great. We have had a lot of compliments on it. It looks like a million bucks and there are no sharp edges to cause a cut if a child falls or pulls up under it. It fit our very old house plumbing and holes with no issues and matches our sink’s round spout perfectly.

This tub faucet was a great buy compared to the building supply stores.It is very good looking with no flaws what so ever. I don`t have it on the tub yet so I don`t know about how well it works orhow long it lasts. But it is beautiful !!

The only issue I have with this spout is the set screw that secures it to the copper. It's the same system that 90% of the slip-fit tub spouts use. It has an allen set screw that seats against the copper. If someone gets it too tight then it will cause a leak, sometimes not right away, but eventually. I've fixed many copper stub-outs in my time as a plumber. Moen makes the best one for most of their tub spouts that clamps around the pipe rather a set screw. I wish others would do this, too.So be warned that if you over-tighten this spout it will damage the copper and cause a leak. Be careful! Never try and spin the spout with the set screw tightened down, always line the spout where you want it and then snug the set screw to the copper.
