Perfect fit. Works well! My Vehicle is a 1985 Chevrolet El Camino. This accumulator was used to retrofit the a/c from R-12 to R 134a. It works very well! If your system has been open, for retrofitting, or for a compressor failure always replace the accumulator before drawing a vacuum on the system and recharging! Also, for old systems it’s best to also replace the condenser, evaporator, and any rubber hoses (as they can slough off rubber particles and clog everything. Don’t forget to flush the system and add an oil charge! Another tip: aftermarket a/c hose assemblies many times don’t fit and tighten up quite right. For $8 I took my old a/c hose assembly to the auto parts store where they pressed new hoses onto the old lines. Voila.....a cheap hose assembly retrofit that fits and tightens perfectly! Brrrrrrr.....ice cold a/c! This accumulator can be used for all G-body cars and many other GM applications.
