Had to cut firewall to get bottom tupe in. Only to find out the blower motor/heater core cover wouldn’t fit do to lower tube angle

I had a tough time getting the inlet and outlet through the firewall holes, so I had to slightly bend the tubes to get them to fit, which made me very concerned that I could cause a leak and be right back to where I started with a leaky heat heater core, but everything turned out OK

This heater core just arrived. Shipped quickly, but look at how it is packaged. This heater core is very fragile, and there is NO protective packaging at all. Doesn’t seem damaged, but won’t know till installed. Very disappointed.

Looks right but lower bent tube is bent at the wrong angle would not fit though the firewall.

This doesn't fit my 1969 chevelleSo I ordered ANOTHER one it's the same .Spectra will say it fits just to make a sale. Other products that I bought from spectra were bunk

when I got it I noticed right away is was very light. compared to my original 1970 I just assumed it was just newer and light weight materials. I did notice that the top cross plate was bent a bit but it is a very thin metal so I let that go.then I installed it.... almost immediately it started to leak.I brought it to a friend who owns a shop to pressure test it for me to see where the issue was and it had multiple leaks all through the core.cheaply made.do not reccommend

Works great the heavy angle of the two pipes made it a little hard to install but no other issues.
