Heater core looks cheap and flimsy and the pipes are press secured in their sockets but they turn easily ... no idea if it can hold the pressure and the heat of the coolant ....It arrived BLAZING FAST and i had to put my car back together so i took the chance ... I really hope i will not have to take the dash and HVAC unit apart again anytime soon

No experience with heater cores, but me and a few friends just installed this product into my 2002 Tacoma V6. Not easy but definitely doable for beginners. Removed the dash and then got to the heater core, removed that and installed the new stuff as well as reinstalled the dash. Heat is extremely hot, almost burning your hands! It’s 90 degrees here with high humidity and the heat from the car is hotter than outside! Great product, and would definitely recommend.

The heater core failed within the year. Its leaking coolant on the floor. It took me eight hours to replace it last November. This is completely unacceptable.

Could not find a Heater core in Spokane, WA for my 2002 4Runner with attached nipples (tubes--whatever), I had to buy those separately. This one was far less expensive, packed well and good quality.

Perfect fit for my 2002 Toyota 4Runner. Looks like a much higher quality part than the one from Advance Auto that I last installed and began leaking. My heat was immediately restored upon installing it and I hope to have no issues for years to come.
