the fuel tank was wider then the one i took off so i had to buy longer hanger strap bolts and add shims new tank was supposed to be a correct fit

Fits but had to put longer bolts in the tank straps as the original bolts woukd not go back in they were short by almost an inch not sure if it's wider or thicker that caused that. But it's in and holds fuel

Perfect fit for my 1994 mustang gt. Do not try to drill a hole for the filler neck bracket. I made that mistake and there isn't enough of a lip past where the weld/seal is made to make a hole for the bracket mount. It fixed with epoxy and it was completely my fault, but just a word to the wise to not make the same mistake I did.

Fit the mustang with one adjustment needed. The passenger side tank will hit the forward lip. So you'll need to bend that up for clearance to the retainer nut on the body side. Other than that no issues!

Replaced my old 1985 tank. It fit as well as the OEM unit, easy install. I highly suggest you replace the original filler neck grommet and trunk seal, possibly your fuel pump and sender if repair takes you as far as a new tank.

Fit almost like stock. Can’t add the ground for the filler tube and a tiny bit of tweaking on one of the edges to get the bolts to grab. But once bent, pushed up hard into the bolt and finally got it in. This was the drivers side bolt that had the most trouble but worth the effort
