Installed on 73 Pontiac lemans works great easy install. This is for ac vehicles with 3 lines out my vehicle has no ac at the moment so I plugged middle line plan on installing ac in future so ordered this one. Lift vehicle remove tank clean tank swap sending unit connect wires and mount the tank easier with at least 2 people if u can change brakes u can change this part.

Great fit and finish. Dropped right in to my 1973 Monte Carlo fuel tank without issue. Couple things I’ve noticed though -1) the ground wire for this assembly sticks up taller than the factory oem unit and hits the bottom side of trunk pan. You might need to bend it over or adjust to fit your car.2) the fuel sending is sluggish compared to the responsiveness the oem unit has. It also has a lower reading for empty than oem. For example, i installed unit in an empty 21 gallon tank and then added 4 gallons of fuel. (Apx 1/4 full) The gauge reads empty. I filled the tank up and the unit read 1/8 fill for about a minute, and then it jumped up to full tank. On the plus side, when going around curves, the fuel gauge no longer drops/swings wildly. It’s a less fluctuating/less responsive signal going to the fuel gauge.

Good replacement part for the one we pulled out the 1975 Monte Carlo that needed to fire up after sitting for 20 years. It matched the original perfectly, and serves as just as well.

My application actually called for the FG107A but this unit worked by simply blocking the vent tube.
